They wanted to cast Josh Brolin as Hal Jordan, also because they wanted to do a "No Country for Old Men" reunion, which was already said,a great inspiration for the show

Theory on the harmed militia in Lanterns

They are are the Five Inversions

The Five Inversions are a terrorist group created by the survivors of the slaughter of the system 666 by the Manhunters.

The Five Inversions bows to destroy the remaining Man Hunters, having revenge on the guardians, and defeat anyone who bows to the guardians

The leader of the group in the comics is Atrocitus.

Before he becomes Atrocitus.

The character of Paul Ben Victor is called Antaan and is described as an alien that speaks vengeance ,he seem to be the leader of this militia

Now since his casting alot of people think he is Atrocitus.

Here his character is with a normal looking dude, but know for a fact he is an alien.

Now in the show we see this armed group shooting at Hal,and warning John on the Manhunters.

That before trying to do something with John using that thing that looks Alien.

Then we see him fighting someone in the truck to escape in the traffic, and that are the scene we see of him running in the traffic.

So they problably try to kidnap him.

He returns to Hal and tells him what they said to him about the Manhunters.

So my theory is that they are the Five Inversions.

The reason we see them as Humans in the trailer is:,Or they have something similiar to the Manhunters to look human, because at least Antaan has one.

Or Antaan has founded a human section of the Five Inversions on earth to help

I think they are problably searching the Manhunters in the population.

And I think the kills they are investigating are in fact done by them, trying to find the Manhunters, hidden within the population

Problably killing innocent people down the line.

Then obviously they don't trust the Lanters,so they try to capture John.

Then Hal goes to confront them

Hulk (2003) by david Cronenberg.Photographed by Peter Suschitzky

David Cronenberg director of the fly,Videodrome,Scanners,Dead Ringers.

The director of photography would have been Peter Suschitzky, who worked on his previous movies,EXistenZ and Crash

And imagined many of the actors for the movie to be actors he already used in another movies

If he made the first Hulk movie in the 2002s

Tom Skerritt as Thaddeus Ross

Jill Hennessy as Betty Ross,Daughter of Thaddeus Ross and love interest of Bruce Banner

Christopher Walken as Bruce Banner's abusive father father Brian Banner

Elias Koteas as Emil Blonsky

Debbie Harry as Susan Banner,Brian's Sister and Bruce Aunt who raised him

Chris Penn as the voice of Joe Fixit,Hulks Gangsters like personality.

And Michael Ironside as the voice of Devil Hulk

His more malevolent personality.

Ralph Fiennes as Samuel Sterns aka The leader

I imagine the movie playing similiary with how the 2003 one did but with more enphasis on the body horror, and the psychological aspect.

And uses more of characters of Hulk mitology like Emil Blonsky as a supportive role.

And Samuel Sterns, but without Transforming them yet

Edit: oh and last addition,Ashton Holmes as Rick Jones

Philip Ettinger as Brian Banner and Phoebe Fox as Bruce Mother's for Mark Ruffalos Hulkin the MCU

u/Professional_Hat2615 — 26 days ago

Which actor would you choose to portray Mark Ruffalos Bruce Banner's father,Brian Banner,in the MCU?

Mind you,Ruffalo now is 58,

He was born in 1967.

Brian Banner is dead in the present so someone from where he was 3-8 years old.someone that should be look like someone in the seventies and that vaguely resemblances Ruffalo of course

Brian Character are that he is a deeply delusional man,who had a son that was unexpected,so problably a bit older than your average age of a dad in that time period.

So maybe even 35 or in his forties.

Secondo te, cosa serve a un buon film su Hulk? E a quale regista lo affideresti?

Cioè, qual è per te la caratteristica necessaria per un buon film di Hulk? Cosa ti è piaciuto del precedente ma avresti voluto di più?

E a quale regista affideresti l'incarico? Supponendo che abbia almeno un po' di libertà creativa?

In your opinion what does a good hulk movie needs? Andto which director would you give it to?

I mean, what for you the characteristic needed for a good Hulk movie? What you liked about the previous one but you wished there was more?

And what director would you have the job to? Given they would have at least some sort of creative liberty?

John Slattery as Thaddeus E.Thunderbolt Ross

My choice for him.

Good actor all together ,

You can see him in Madmen

Or Recently he gave an amazing performance in Norimberg

He looks also alot as the character, and it isn't too far in age.

63 years from now .
