Almost everyone was pissed off at the vulgarity but all the old women were commenting things like “same queen”.

Who are the Beatles again? This is real music.
So, I wish I had the screenshot of this exact encounter, but a few years ago I made a big long post on an advice subreddit asking how I could better connect with some people in my friend group.
I had typed it all out after consuming quite a bit of Mountain Dew, so at the end of the post I said something like “I apologize if I’m not making any sense with this, it’s late at night and I’m kinda on a sugar high”.
Some probable neckbeard then came into the comments saying that I probably shouldn’t even have friends due to my “immaturity as evidenced by using a sugar high as an excuse” or something like that.
My self esteem was really low at that point and since I had been shielded from criticism for most of my young life I really took the criticism way too seriously and nuked my entire year or two year old Reddit account as a result.
Thankfully my self esteem no longer is at that “midnight zone” of a low point, but yeah. I always thought that story featured a pretty prime example of a Reddit moment so I thought I’d share. Thanks for anyone reading this, hope you have a good day out there 👍🏻
Something tells me OP might own a glass house…
Glad they chose to replace Wonderous Lady or whatever her name was with a true hero.
I was at like a Halloween event with like haunted houses and stuff, and the MorMimes showed up at the end of the haunted house. They weren’t silent and they started chastising the event goers for going to a “pagan celebration”. I thought the pun was worth sharing.
