A journalist named Sachin Baba (Baba Express) is on STRIKE for social activist Bharat Tiwari...who got killed by Bihar police

Mods don't remove this post

A journalist named Sachin Baba (Baba Express) is on STRIKE for social activist Bharat Tiwari...who got killed by Bihar police

Hey all as we all know that a social activist Bharat Tiwari....who is fighting for the flood victims of his village ...and raising voice against the politician who make false promises and corrupt officer got killed by Bihar police...it has sparked a huge outrage across the Up, Bihar region and all over the nation....

in his last moment he is on Facebook live where he throws away his weapon after police assured him that politicians will fulfill their promises...and then killed him firing 5 shots on him on the spot...would highly recommend you to please watch that Facebook live

.if you don't know about this I am attaching below the summary by GPT but I'll recommend to search for his work on your own so that you can get the better understanding....many people are involving caste angle in this...but his fight was against the politician, corruption and system....

Here is the summary by AI...do your own research for better perspective

The Victim identity:

Bharat Bhushan Tiwari (28) was a B.Sc. student and a dedicated social activist/worker from Bhojpur, Bihar.

His Work: He was locally known for exposing administrative corruption and fighting for the rights of flood victims. The Incident (June 17, 2026)Police Claim: A joint police and STF team raided his village to seize illegal weapons. They claimed Bharat fired at them and was killed in a return-fire "shootout encounter."

The Reality: A Facebook Live video recorded by Bharat exposed the police narrative. The footage clearly showed him dropping his weapon, raising his hands, and trying to surrender before being shot.

The Outrage & Sachin Baba's Strike :

Journalist Strike: Mainstream media largely ignored the killing. In response, Sachin Mishra (Sachin Baba), Chief Editor of Baba Express Champaran, traveled to the village and went on an indefinite hunger strike demanding absolute justice.

Public Backlash: Massive street protests and candlelight marches erupted across Bihar. High-profile political figures, as well as Bhojpuri stars like Pawan Singh and Khesari Lal Yadav, publicly condemned the killing.

Current Action

Suspensions: Five involved police personnel, including the Station House Officer (SHO), have been suspended for negligence.

Investigation: The Bihar government has ordered a high-level judicial inquiry led by a retired High Court Judge. A petition for a CBI probe has also been moved to the Supreme Court.
