Angela Lansbury

I just finished a poison Episode of MSW. It's the one where the evil ghost paints pins with Thallium I was just wondering, what would our awesome sleuth do if some was really poisoned. Not as the character but the real person.

Has something like this ever happened?

Social media questions

I'm about 3-4 months to finish my two novels.

Having read about marketing, it's suggested I create some social media platforms.

I'm curious, which do people in here like? I'm asking because I hate social media. I avoid it like the plague. I'm only on here occasionally...

Do you all have a favorite?

Edgar Casey

Has anyone ever read Edgar Casey's books?

I've been listening to him on YouTube.. last night I listened to his feelings about women who are single by choice. He suggested that we / single by choice women are the people who are going to be pioneers of the divine feminine. Were the ones who break the societal rules of who we should be.

I'm curious what others think about his idea.

Cabot cove

I just realized (I can be slow on the uptake) there is virtually no crime when Fletcher leaves Cabot Cove.

Going back to a recent discussion on here, if you remember the one gal we all enjoyed, the episode with the Sheriff's sister, she could have solved crimes while Jessica was out of town. Then, Jessica could come back and solve the final mystery.

She did do this once. In England, she caught the youngster who stole money and murdered the guy who was looking for the Chinese statue.

Yes, I admit, I need to stop watching this series. But my excuse, it's so addicting.

Weight question

I'm writing a children's story/series about my NFC family. I once had two. Best cats in the world.

Beansy weighed roughly 25 lbs.. I remember him as a very large cat. All fur. Is this correct? I can't locate any vet cards on him.

Is this considered a large breed? Similar, but not as big as a Maine Coon.

My adorable little monster

I' give my boy a tsp or more Greek yogurt in with his food. I started to mix it up... Because he was only eating the yogurt. This is just once a day. He gets just regular dry in the morning.

One night, I told him how exciting his food looked, so very yummy. I added more, you understand, baby talk.

Now, he will only eat it if I mix it and tell him how yummy it is.

Who was the person who said we train dogs? I think it's the reverse.

Lol

Editing my book

I finally finished book 2 in my series.

I'm taking a weekend break, then I'll start editing. How many edits did you do before your book was finished. I'm planning to send it to a professional editor, but I want to go through it first.

This is not a request for editing or for anyone to look at my work. Just a general question.. about self editing

Thanks.

New episodes... To me

I'm watching a new episode.. I thought I'd seen every single one. It's the return of Preston Giles. It just started.

I'm thrilled. His introduction was my favorite episode.

Children's story almost finished

I'm nearly done with my children's story, book two. Is it normal to mourn them? I still need to edit a little bit, but it's sad seeing my main character go off into book land

history of Turkish Angoras

I'm trying to find the history of these beautiful cats. Long story short, I'm writing a children's book series, and one of the three main characters is my, now crossed the rainbow bridge, beautiful black TAC. She has 9 lives, the first started with Cleopatra. Each life lasts about 135-150 years.

In my story, Mogwai (her name) was a kitten, given to Cleopatra by Mark Anthony. I've researched and Cleopatra did have a favorite cat... And I know too, Mark Anthony did go to Turkey... She was born ??? And Mark Anthony found her and gave her to the beautiful queen.

I want to have my baby girl found at say, 6 months, but I can't locate any history. Does anyone know of any myths surrounding them? What's it called? I can make it up, but my goal is to use as much real history as possible.

All I've found is the breed is very old, and they mention Anatolian mountains.

Thank you.

Volva question

So, I'm writing a children's series which includes a book about a volva. The era is the 7th century. I'm trying to keep this as historically accurate as possible. Is it appropriate that she falls in love with a guy she meets? Or would it be better to keep her single and more remote.

Epona who is she?

I was called by Epona. I know nothing about her. Just that I've been thinking about horses a lot. (I used to ride) I'm curious because I think it has to do with losing a job, and possibly writing? Does this make sense to anyone?

I've been somewhat lost lately... And she showed up to me last night.

Thanks

Accounting jobs

OMG. This is why I hate AI.

I applied for a remote job, staff accountant, in the medical field. It wouldn't let me because I don't have my nursing license.

This may make me crazy. Lol

Coffee & Anxiety

I'm a huge morning coffee drinker. I realized that caffeine might be a problem... So I switched to uncaffeinated. I'm drinking it now. It seems to be helping me a lot with my anxiety today.

I'm going to try half caffeine and half uncaffeinated coffee for a while. Apparently it's not good, if you drink coffee daily to switch up to uncaffeinated immediately... But half and half is a great way.

It seems to be helping me a lot.

I just wanted to share this with everyone who might be suffering from anxiety. It might be that caffeinated coffee that isn't helping because it exasterbates your symptoms.

Cayenne pepper on plants

I just planted my tomatoes. I'm excited. I think I was a gardener in a past life... I decided to plant some squash seeds in an area that is heavy on the sand. (I mixed in some yummy sheep manure and did some other bits. )

I looked it up. Apparently squash loves sandy soil. Im thrilled.

I'm trying to garden with no chemicals and more natural things... I love our earth and feel like if I can help in my little way, I want to try. And no, I don't judge people who don't only use natural stuff. Particularly with certain plans that are taking over. I may do this in my front garden if my locus keeps sprouting up.. but that's a question for another time.

My question... I put down some cayenne pepper around the tomatoes. It's worked in the past for other plants.. but this was in the autumn. Has anyone else used cayenne pepper around tomatoes? It keeps rodents away.. did it work? How often do you reapply?

Thanks. I'm somewhat new to gardening... I used to help my dad, but it's been awhile.

Question about our life

I had a horrible day. A tough week from hell is a better description.

I did manage to get my meds having been off them a few weeks.

My question. For those of you on meds... I often have wondered if our brains were shaped because of our abuse. In other words, if I wasn't molested, would I now be dealing with a serious lack of serotonin in my brain. For those unfamiliar, serotonin is a feel good hormone. Was this lack caused by fear, and hurt, and thinking everyone I met would hurt me, physically or emotionally. At a young age, by brain was developing...

I've often wondered what life without meds would be like. To be free of wanting to seriously hurt someone. My meds regulate this, and I no longer feel like this. This is my illness... My meds remove this feeling.

Has anyone else ever wondered if our abusers caused chemical imbalance or? or if it was caused by abuse?

My extra affectionate Lacey Lady

My girl is world known for this.

Yesterday about 5:00 my fire alarm started beeping. It needed new batteries. But I couldn't fix it right away. I managed to fix it a couple hours later after I pulled it and changed the batteries.

Lacey gets really concerned around weird noises. She ran and hid. I found her, brought her upstairs and put her in the bedroom with the door shut. At dinner, I found her under the covers.

Well, she ate dinner, and went around the house, double checking everything. Now, she's glued to my side, purring up a storm. She's her contented self and is a happy girl.

What a beautiful love bug.

These little kids

My little girl, Angel. She sits in the window of the bedroom and attacks birds.

the problem is, have a recording voice that lets me know if anyone tampers with my windows. She sets it off daily.

I adore these cats

Some danger for our kids

I just read there's a new danger for outdoor cats. Apparently bobcats have a tick on them that's spreading this new disease. I don't know much about it, but it sounds bad.

People might know about this, I just read a brief article about it.

Please keep your outdoor kids safe if you live in bobcat territory and there are ticks.

Under the Skin

I just started to watch Under the Skin. It's my first CDrama. It's amazing. The actors are awesome.

Has anyone else seen it? I'm only at episode 11, so excited to see where it takes its audience. ❤️❤️
