As a chinese person myself, I often see people wanting to be Chinese but they genuinely spout some shit about moon cakes and red envelopes, not to mention that they post it in chinese that’s so painfully google translated (for reference, Google Translated Chinese is EXTREMELY wordy and a full sentence can be shortened down to two words in a casual setting) Don’t even get me started on how they “change” their appearances. There are these things called “Subliminals” which genuinely might be literal delusion feeding. It’s basically an asmr with a voice whispering affirmations to you e.g water rushing sound while someone whispers “you are Japanese. Your homeland is Japan. You speak Japanese“. I wish I was kidding. They also claim these subliminals can literally change your appearance because every fucking rcta person wants fucking monolids for some fucking reason. I don’t even fucking have monolids. Sorry. I actually listened to one of those chinese subliminals as a Chinese person to see what happens and I can confirm my concubine brought over a servant she caught trying to poison my dumplings so I lowkey just said "拖出去" and big 50 year old men with long beardo and wukong armor teleported in, bowed to me, said glory to to the prince dragged the servant by his arms and went to behead him with a guandao
