Need advice about religious in laws.

I'm creating a parenting plan with my ex husband for our child. Neither he nor I attend church anymore (we were fundamentalist Catholics) but his parents DO. They are strict. They look after my child two days a week so I can work. However, I do NOT want them to take her to church or church activities. Is this reasonable? I was deeply traumatised by the Catholic church and won't step foot in one.

On the one hand, she's my child, and I'm allowed to say it.

On the other, they're doing me a favour caring for her for free. But they do so on Mondays and Tuesdays when there's no need to go to church.

Thoughts?

Some genuine Swedish food brand reccomendations (for an Aussie)?

Hi! I live in Australia but I really enjoy many aspects of Scandinavian lifestyle, culture, style and so on. I’m wanting to try some Swedish foods that actual Swedish people enjoy. Like, when you eat knackebrod, what brands are most people buying? Stuff like that. Popular coffee brands and so on. I like elderflower cordial and believe that’s popular there …. which brand do you like?

What are some nice sweets and treats you guys enjoy, what do you eat during a fika break?

I can find suppliers online, I just need to know what you recommend!

Thanks so much from an Aussie 🐨🫶🏻

It’s happening. Tomorrow.

He’s made me cry for the final time. 6 years of turmoil and fighting and backbiting, the cheating. I can’t let my daughter grow up in this.

I’ve made my plans, I’m putting them into action.

And tomorrow I’m telling him it’s over. The government will recognise separation under one roof while I get my shit together.

I want to be more like the woman I was. I want my sparkle back. I feel a deep sense of peace and resolution washing over me.

I’m really fucking scared to be alone again because I have no family, I’m scared about my chronic health conditions and being lonely at night. I’m scared of being on my own at night. But it cannot be worse than the insurmountable pain of staying.

Returning to work after time out. How do you compartmentalise?

Hi all. Looking to return to work in this field but I’ve since had a baby and worried about how it might impact me. As in, I’m anxious about doing funerals for children and so on. How do you all compartmentalise? Thanks heaps!
