I'm currently in the process of relocating to the greater Denver area and am trying to get a gauge on areas where I can park 2 vehicles without much hassle. I have a personal vehicle and will also have a work truck that can't really be moved around outside of work related things (unless I get written permission 🙄). Trying to keep it affordable since I'm just starting out and only making about 23/hr right now. Any recommendations on where to look is appreciated!

I might be moving/working in the foothills/mountains of Colorado this winter and my current car is probably not going to cut it (2011 Ford Ranger 2.3l 5 speed RWD) even though I love it. So what cars should I look at getting that would get decent gas mileage while being AWD or 4x4 and is easy to perform maintenance/mechanical work on. I'm kinda leaning towards some sort of sedan or wagon, honestly would love something that's a bit quirky and probably older/less techy.

So, I've been making art for like 20 years at this point and have never done anything in terms of making prints, it's all just been for the love of the game and documenting my life and experiences (so a lot of it is in high-quality sketchbooks). I've had friends requesting to buy prints for years and I have finally decided to make a website and go through the motions of selling them through a POD service since I live on the road.

However, I have come across the issue that none of my art seems to fit standard print sizes (specifically on Gelato atm, but might look at changing that). Has anyone experienced this similar issue? Am I doomed to have weird crops of my art? (Also are the dotted lines there for where a frame would cover it?) Do I just need to start physically measuring out all my paper and marking them for prints?

All my posts keep getting removed by filters for no reason

I read through what I could find on the subreddit but most of it seemed a few years old (feel free to tell me it's still all pretty up to date, but it feels like everything is changing so quickly these days) and my other concern is that winter is quickly approaching, which begs the question of whether pursuing this is feasible this late in the year or if I should wait?

Background context: Located in the US, no current employment and mobile (so flexible in where I can go, but would prefer the Southwest/ Western US). I had about a decade long career in the Outdoor Education/Rec Industry and have quite a lot of experience with ropes through climbing and swiftwater rescue, as well as experience driving 4x4s with trailers. I have a bachelor's in biology but mostly focused on ecology and evolution, but did do a short stint in a plant nursery in New Zealand. I also personally really enjoy plant biology. Going back to school or paying big money for anything is not an option at the moment.

If you were in my position, what areas of the country would you recommend looking into that would allow me to afford basic housing? Are there certain companies (I've read mixed things on Davey) or situations/positions you would avoid? How do you all handle the off-season and keep the bills paid? I've seen quite a few recommendations for resources to look at in the interim, but feel free to drop any. Lastly, I've mostly been using Indeed to look for opportunities, are there other places that might have better leads?

For context: I have lived a pretty nomadic life and it has taken its toll, so I'm looking for somewhere to settle for at least a few years while I focus on my mental health and build a healthy foundation for my life. These criteria are not set in stone and can definitely be flexible, I've lived enough places to know that nowhere is going to be 100% perfect and I can always move again.

Criteria:

-Western US (including the Midwest)

This one is pretty inflexible, I've spent most of my time on the east coast and I'm good.

- Seasons!

I grew up in FL and while I'm a huge fan of sunshine I also love the changing of seasons and a good cold period to get cozy (bonus for leaf changes).

-Climbing gym

I'd really like to get back into climbing and find it a fantastic way to create community and force myself to stick to regular exercise.

-Has an established arts/community scene

I'm an artist (amateur) and would like a local community I can get involved with.

-Close to public lands or at least wide open areas of wilderness

I'm an outdoorsman and love a wide variety of outdoor activities

-Affordable enough to live solo (the dreaded criteria 💀)

I don't need anything big or fancy (I currently live in my small truck so the bar is pretty low), but ideally I would like somewhere I can live by myself for a reasonable rent.

-Not a tiny town, small city preferred

I hope to live in a tiny town one day, but the reality is jobs are scarce there and I'm a single man in his early 30s who would not like to live like a monk just yet.

Overall my preference would be somewhere in the Southwest US, but that's just because I love the desert

I am a broke, unemployed artist trying to set up a website that I can connect to a Print on Demand service (Gelato). I have been trying to learn Wordpress and Elementor off and on for the past year and have gotten ABSOLUTELY nowhere. Mainly because everything freaking changes every time I come back to it. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to change the Site Title color or the menu color after spending hours of reading and trying.

I don't have the money to hire someone, nor do I have constant access to the Internet/electricity. I have tried to follow some YouTube tutorials but they all look terribly tacky and are way too focused on the "cool factor" (idgaf about your stupid flame animations).

This is partly a rant and partly me asking a community if they have some up to date resources that will help me make a website that is simple, with a woocommerce integration, and will allow me to change the damn menu colors (this one is really irking me tbh) without having to code. From what I can tell, WordPress is an acquired taste and I hope one day I end up enjoying it, but for now WTF.

Just going to start off by saying that I am already overwhelmed and would really just like to start something sooner rather than later (otherwise I will spiral attempting to achieve the perfect way of doing this).

I live out of my small truck with a permanent address on the other side of the US and will not be in one place for long (or very remote). I mostly make ink drawings and watercolor paintings that I scan with a high quality travel scanner. I have been working on making a website for myself in order to start selling prints (and maybe stickers/shirts/ etc.). The PoD service I decided to go with was Printful because of general Internet consensus, but I realized that their just normal art prints are lacking.

I have been slowly learning about PoD and selling artwork over the years but have never taken the leap until now. And I just need to get it started TBH. I would like to keep it all in house on my website and just start out with basic prints of my mostly A5 and A4 pieces. What would be the best way of doing this without physically handling anything after I have scanned in my artwork (I literally do not have the room)? Half of my potential buyers are also in Australia so if you have any advice on managing that, my ears are wide open.

I'm just a guy who hasn't gotten his hair cut in almost ten years looking to get my hair cut down to medium long length (it's past my waist at this point) and I refuse to have it butchered by the cheap-o haircut places. So looking for recommendations for barbers or hair salons that have experience with longer hair. I don't really care if the place caters to men or women, but have usually been disappointed with the classic men's barbershops that focus on short haircuts.
