I feel like it’s media blowing everything out of proportion for clicks but everything I see makes it seem like the success hinges on this big question mark.
We haven’t resigned any of the centers, and I love Nurk and want him back, but do we actually think Kessler has any chance of wanting to/actually walking away?
My first thought is that all the teams in the conversation no longer have the means to match/beat the offer we gave him realistically. Maybe LA but they just sent reeves with a much larger bag than they thought.
I feel like he comes back with no issues or hard feelings but it’s hard to filter media BS and what might be true.
I didn’t believe the nonsense about Ace or DP not wanting to come here. And don’t think Rudy or Don wanted out, maybe because they didn’t get along but they were both reportedly happy here.
What are y’all’s thoughts?
I’m excited to watch summer season and excited to start seeing everyone train and mingle but I feel like this stupid conversation about our center situation is going to loom over everything until it’s resolved.

I am so excited because I like everyone we could possibly get and I've never felt this for this team before. AJ is seemingly everyone's fever dream prospect for here. DP is most people's best fit and some think he is the best player in the class. and Boozer has such a good skillset and his IQ is insane, and he could be an engine to lead whatever team he's on to success, much like Brunsen with utilizing smarts to win and Luka with being successful at every level and the slow-mo "unathletic" looking movements, and has a big frame.
I'm so excited for this team, I'm excited about getting any of these guys, and the best part is WE WILL!
Good luck to all 3 of them, and I'm excited for what Hardy does with whoever we get.

I have an old MacBook Pro I don’t use because the battery is cooked.
I’m debating on plugging it in; leaving it by the router, and use it specifically for being the pihole runner and try setting it up with the network.
Will I run into a bunch of issues or would this work for stopping ads for the whole house?

My in laws invited me to join them on a vacation out of country, which I voiced my gratitude for several times. During the planning I didn’t have much of a say in what happened or when, which sucked but I wasn’t paying for the trip so I wasn’t super upset about it.
While we were on the vacation I had a lot of questions about what we were doing, both out of excitement and curiosity, and I made her family upset because there was a schedule and I should know. (Something that was never shared with me)
My wife was incessant that I should direct all my questions about events towards her, but after a few days she answered most of them with “idk” and moved on. So I started asking her older sister, who organized every activity.
I found out today that me asking her questions about what was happening made her very mad at me a few days in, but she never made any attempt to communicate her frustrations, just held them in and expected me to adjust my behavior. (This is a trend in her family)
We (wife and I) just had a fight because I didn’t ask her everything or look at the schedule (something ineffective and something I didn’t have) and when I told her that she clearly wasn’t any more aware of anything than me, and that the woman that planned the whole thing ought to know more she got more upset.
She says I didn’t trust her enough with anything, and that me upsetting her family is because I refuse to learn how they communicate.
Is my perspective skewed in thinking that it’s up to an adult to communicate their feelings? Just because her family doesn’t functionally communicate anything, (very toxic communicators actually)shouldn’t mean that I should adjust and stoop to that level right?
Or am I being too prideful being that communication is literally my profession.
I don’t want to be too rigid but I feel like they are the problem if they choose not to communicate and react anyway.

I asked for a schedule, they said it was provided, but I was never actually given access to it. They knew I didn’t have access but didn’t fix it. So I never got one
And I would ask things like “what time is X happening” “how long is X event supposed to last”
Nothing insane by my metric.
Also it’s not a matter of not reading the room, they hide their feelings intentionally because that is how they were raised. So it’s hard to know what they’re thinking when they intentionally hide it.

I made some purchases on DHGate and got a seller that sent fraudulent photos of products and sizing information completely different than what I received. I am going back and forth with the seller who said I have no evidence and DHgate most likely won’t do anything either. Will Sofi actually act on my behalf or am I screwed? I know some banks suck with disputes and others are pretty good. Not sure where Sofi stacks up with this type of claim.

I want to tie the carabiner to the lanyard strap and don’t know what string I should use and what knot would be best.
I’m intermediate at best with my knot skills, but with how small of a string I would need and the shorter length easier knots that are super solid are encouraged!
I want to be able to shorten the knot too. I want like 1/2-1in of slack between the loop and the carabiner.
