I barely scratched my $1200 rent when my boomer parents pay less for two story homes ( separate ) empty nesters. I am not allowed to live there. I am working 6 days a week and watching no savings, no vacations and no spending money. I went to one concert last month and it set me back to the point I almost didn’t make rent.
