Quebec City in October
My husband and I are planning on visiting Quebec City the second week of October with our 6-month-old. Is this a good time to visit? Any suggestions on what we should do??

So I’m 16 weeks postpartum and just got my period again. I’ve been exclusively breastfeeding my baby since birth. I breastfed / pumped and bottle fed for the first 8 weeks or so, but since then I haven’t even pumped and have just been EBF. My baby has been so regular with her schedule for at least a month - she eats and naps at the same time and wakes up twice to eat at the same time every night. There are off days here and there but, for the most part, we stick to a really good schedule. Since my period started, she has been sooo much hungrier. She usually eats every 3 hours but she’s been wanting to eat more like every 2 hours and she’s waking up for an additional night feed. Is this something that will continue? Should I be prepared to give up on breastfeeding now that my period is back?
My husband and I are planning a trip to Annecy, Megeve, and Vevey in mid-October with our baby (she will be 6 months old). We just want a romantic, low key European vacation. Will October be a good time to travel to Annecy?
My baby is 15 weeks and she is exclusively breast fed. She eats every 3 hours starting at 8am and ending at 8pm and usually eats twice at night around 1am and 4am. Her schedule is 3 hour cycles of eat, play, sleep and she has 60-90 min wake windows. She takes at least 2 naps a day in her crib and we’ve gotten her to the point where she is drowsy when we put her in and she settles herself to sleep. Those naps are usually only 30-45 mins before she wakes up and I rock her back to sleep and either put her back in the crib or hold her for the remainder of the nap. Her last nap of the day is usually 45 mins and then we have bath time and then her last feeding before bed. Most nights lately she goes right to bed with maybe 2 mins of light rocking and only wakes up twice to eat and goes right back down.
I think she’s doing really well and we have slowly been “sleep training” her for a few months by putting her on a schedule/routine and attempting crib naps, obviously without letting her cry at all because she’s still little and needs to eat at night.
I have two questions here. The first - How will I know when she’s ready to drop night feeds? I do not want to let her fuss or cry at all if she’s clearly still just hungry. The second - We are going on an 8-day trip to Europe when she’s 6 months. I plan to start sleep training around 5 months if she’s ready. Should I just push it off and wait until we get back from the trip? Or should I sleep train before so that she has a better sleep foundation for the long flight / jet lag?

Hi! My baby is 12 weeks (9 weeks adjusted) and EBF. During the day we follow an eat/play/sleep schedule and she eats every 3 hours. She’s up for about 60-90 mins until she shows sleep cues and then she naps until feeding time. Her naps are all over the place - sometimes a contact nap, in the car, in the stroller. She HATES being put down but is getting better. The last week I’ve been putting her for at least 1-2 naps a day in her crib and she sleeps 30 mins and wakes up and will not settle back down. Bedtime routine every night is bath time and last feeding and then she goes right down. She still sleeps in a bassinet in my room at night and does pretty well. We usually get a longer first stretch (4-6 hours) and then she’ll wake up after 2-3 hours. She always eats and immediately goes back down.
My questions are - How can I improve her naps if she won’t settle once she wakes up? And overnight, how can I let her cry if out if she’s genuinely hungry?
My baby is almost 5 weeks old and I’m having a lot of trouble with her sleeping. She will sleep fine if she’s laying on me or my husband, if she’s in her swing seat (even though we don’t turn the swing on), or in her car seat. She will NOT sleep in the bassinet. I have to get her fully in a deep asleep for at least 20 minutes before I put her in the bassinet and most times she will pop her eyes open and be wide awake as soon as I put her down. She won’t even immediately cry, she will slowly build up to a full cry over the course of 15 mins. She even did this in the bassinet attachment of the stroller while we were on a walk! I need help or advice because it’s the only place I can put her down to safely sleep if I also want to try to sleep (which I desperately need to do).
