Hi, im thinking of applying for a part time 911 dispatcher position for extra income but I am curious before applying what actual hours this could be? . Would be something I could do after my 9-5 from for 4 hours like 4:30/5 to. 8 pm. Or something like just weekends Thursdays- Saturday /Sunday. ?

I received a call back for a life insurance sales position 100 % percent commission based. I would have to get my insurance sales license and i already know a little bit about life insurance. I like that it is flexible to my work hours needs but I was initially looking for something that would pay me enough to help build more income on side but the fact is commission based and I don't have much sales skills experience and not comfortable is what is holding me back.
The company told me that there formula of how they sale It would be sure I could make some sales but Idk it just sounds scam to me.
Years ago indeed and just going in person and applying directly on companies was they way I got jobs quickly. But what platforms are best now that aren't scamming , posting fake jobs and etc. ?

The other peoples insurance is not paying out enough for me to get a good down payment on another car. They paying out around 7,000 but I still owe 5,000 on the car so it leaves me around 1,000 or less to work with. But I want to know if worth getting the vehicle back to sell for parts and how much could I possibly get? Or would fixing it be reasonable? Im just thinking fixing it back would cost very much.

So I was recently in a car accident about 2 weeks ago with my kids. Another car ran a red light and hit us in the intersection. Both cars have been deemed as Totaled. HOWEVER, the insurance company has noted my car ( 2020 Ford Escape , trim: S, 126,940 mileage) value at 6,599 and giving a total to me of 7,044. BUT my car loan that's left is 5,035 dollars so that only leaves me around 2,000 or a little after they pay out.
Me and my family have been speaking asking for a little more & on buying back the car and just using the remaining money to get it fixed. So I don't have a car note. I drive a lot for my job but also need a low car note note IF get another car due to my current income /bills income.
What would be the best options in my case??
I am preparing to get another used vehicle and liking the Mitsubishi price point. I'm currently renting a 2026 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross and like it and consider a 2025 /2024 but I'm wondering how Mitsubishi holds up over time being that I drive way more than average.
What are your thoughts on what would be a good reliable option for a used Mitsubishi that's about 3 to 5 years old. ? And any thoughts on the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross?
I spoken to my daughter my times about exploring herself. But it is getting out of hand now to wear she is lying about and I am catching in the acts. This is something that she has been doing on on ,/off since about 3 years old. She informed me that no one has done anything to her . I have tried discipline her , speaking to her , explaining to her and she still continues. She has also had because daycare teachers when she was younger explain to her as well. This is really not a behavior I want to reinforce for her to keep doing or is okay with her to just figure out.
I understand some of it is a little normal but I'm believe is turning into something it shouldn't and that I'm.not comfortable with and I don't want the other kids picking up the behavior or her doing that in settings thats not appropriate.
Any advice on this and how to help her stop /get her to stop ??
I had an 1 small sore out break earlier this week and began taking valycolvir since Wednesday and tomorrow would be the last day . As it is a 3 day prescription.
If the sore is still there can I still have sex even though I'm taking the valycolvir? And does valycolvir typically clear it up my the 3rd day? It's been years since I've had to take the medication
Some previous dating partners have asked if I would go to Africa and marry a family member then divorce here in the US . I have of course told them, No to that. I get some of the differences in Africa and US. But I can't help but to feel kind of upset about the real intentions /motives for them dating me. I feel it's a lack of consideration for me. Is this something common with African men dating Black American women ? Should I take offense / be upset at this.
I'm currently restarting my weight loss journey and working on being more consistent. I don't want to lose my curves or butt in process. When I go to the gym I usually do cardio ( 5 minutes in stair master, 15-20 minutes walking , 5 -10 minutes sauna)
I'm currently about 305 pounds, 5'4/5'5. For short term goal I want to get to 260-270 pounds. Main goal: 180 pounds
I preparing to move into an apartment on the 1st floor . I love it and excited for the experience. As I'm used to staying on the 3rd floor and main issues were with my kids walking , jumping, crying up the stairs . But my family has concerns for safety. The area I'm.staying in is not known for any break ins and etc. and plan to get door & window jams , cameras inside and out . The complex usually keeps gates closed. And the apartment building is near the front.
Who has your experience been ? And should I consider going up a to a 3rd floor or possibly different complex?
