A. Brielle & Carla

Just wondering 🤔 is it normal for the same plant, two completely different personalities. One dark and dramatic (I understand this is emerging leaf and the color will change as it getting mature), the other soft and classic velvet.

Hami Melon seedling

Wow, they sprouted only in a week!!! Should I wait them to have leaf growth out before putting them into soil? Thanks for any tips!

Variegated A. Frydek

Just showing off two of my Variegated A. Frydek ! 😻The more variegated was a TC from a local seller! The less variegated one was grown from corm from a mother plant that I lost during repotting! Mother plant was more variegated, but this one still very young, it should have potential to grown higher variegation I believe!

Plant together or separate them?

Should I plant them together or separately? The taller one actually sprouted much later than the shorter one, but it’s been growing incredibly fast. Does that mean it’s the stronger plant? Thanks for any tips 🌱

Upsizing?

Lol, forgive me!! Today’s task is clearly repotting 😅
This Alocasia pink chantrieri is an absolute monster when it comes to water—thirsty every 3–4 days! Looks like it’s time for a bigger pot 🤔
Only had it home for a week and it’s already running the show!

Also curious about the corm situation—are they usually large enough at this stage to propagate, or should I let them develop more on the plant first? Still figuring out the timing on these little guys 🤔🌱

Alocasia Pink Black Velvet

My TC finally gave me its first leaf two months after I got her home! 🥰 The new leaf is a bit bigger than the older ones and has such nice variegation. I’m wondering if I should repot her into a bigger pot, but I’ve heard that Alocasia like being a little root-bound, so I’m not sure if now is a good time to repot. Thanks for any tips! 💚

***oops, just noted a picture with a corm accidentally added here, it’s from another Alocasia 😅 plz annoy it.

Hi everyone! Does my Anthurium pendens look like it’s been successfully pollinated? I used pollen from my Anthurium luxurians, but it switched to the male phase shortly after, so I collected some of its pollen and stored it in the freezer. I’m really hoping this is my first successful pollination after a couple of attempts 😅

Got this low variegation pink chantrieri; is there a hope more variegation will come out if it’s place to a more bright light spot?

My A. Pups are placing next so NW window, with a little direct and a lot of indirect sunlight which promote the algae growth in the moss/cup/solution. Is algae good or bad for A. Pups? Should I clean the cups and change the moss when algae appears? Thanks in advance
