Seriously, how does one create and add a Validation Rule to a bp step ?

I've been working on Workday HCM for one year, in a company with pretty established bps in Workday, including tons of Validation rules on the initiation steps of some bps like Change Job, Hire etc..

Now, in my bp Hire we have an Edit Additional Data step in which I want to make certains fields mandatory for certain Cost Centers. I believe a validation rule is my only option, and I belive the way to add a validation rule is to go to the related actions of the step > Maintain step conditions (that's what I read some time ago).

But why do I always end up on the Condition rule (entry) page ?? I only seem to be able to add VR on the initiation step of a bp, but here the initiating step wouldn't work, it has to be on the Edit Additional Data step. And I know it's possible, I saw a community post with screenshots of validation rules in other steps than the initiating step.

How do I add that validation rule ?

Please, I'm getting mad over this !!

Help me design my new leo

Hi fellow ballet enthusiats !

I'm sure you're gonna have fun with this one.

I'm a long time sewist + danced for 11 years before stopping at 16 and getting back to dance this year as an adult.

Time has passed and my adolescent body with it, hence why I don't fit into my leos anymore. Especially this red cami one that's very tight at the leg holes and the straps really dig into my shoulders.

I could simply elongate the straps and the crotch but I don't have plain red spandex.

I'd prefer to to something more fun and to add power mesh cutouts. The question is : how ? in what shape ? and how can I at the same time add torso length and thigh width AND make it cute ?

https://preview.redd.it/pmxa01oy3kih1.png?width=1389&format=png&auto=webp&s=89e51d198b0565fd5f4305b4022093bf5a9dc987

I couldn't find the exact leo and I don't have a picture of it but I recreated it's vibe here on the left . On the right is a first design idea I had with the inspo below (the salmonish-pink reprensents the red power mesh). I also made 2 other versions.

Added difficulty to take (or not) into account, I own a red power mesh skirt that I'd like to wear with this new leo, so cut outs below the waist aren't going to be as visible. But if I fall in love with a design that it would be a pitty to cover up with a skirt, I'll cut the skirt up to use the power mesh of it (otherwise i'll thrift something with red power mesh on it).

Here's a canva link to the presentation with the model leo, feel free to draw your ideas on it ! I'll sew my favorite one and post a picture afterwards !

let the creativity begin !

TIFU by forgettig to wish a happy birthday to my best friend

My best friend, Lucy, was born on december 25th. We met at the begining of high school (in France), in 2017. She's been my best and closest friend since.

5 years later, it's 2022, we're both starting our third college year in different cities. We're still close but not as much as before because of the distance. The following Christmas (2022) comes her birthday, as every year (I spent the 25th with her and her family for her birthday in 2019,2020 and 2021.) But this year I have my whole family from far visiting for Christmas so I can't be there for her birthday, plus she didn't actually invite me over. The day passes and I completely forgot to wish her a happy birthday. We actually don't talk this day not the next. Come the 29th and it's our mutual friend's Margot birthday. Margot invited me + 2 other friends over, but she didn't invite Lucy because they had an argument and didn't talk anymore. Margot asked me if I wish HB to Lucy and I realize I didn't and rush to write to Lucy and apologize.

4 months go by and Lucy is giving me the cold shoulder, being very short and cold in her answers. 2 more months and I finally ask what's going on. I find out she's disapointed because I forgot her BD. I apologize, explain that I was with my family this year and that yeah it slipped my mind. She's still mad, I ask if we can talk it out, she says 'no'.

And like that, almost 6 years of her being my closest friend ended.

That was 3 years ago.

I've tried over the years to reconcile, reach out, we even spent an alumni event in 2025 together and we had a great time, I asked if she was still mad and she said no, we hugged, I was so happy, thought that was our friendship reborn, but a few weeks later I reached out and she answered that she's not interested in being friends.

I've been very sad about it, especially because I don't have many friends and she was the most important one as some point. I miss her, we had such good times, she was so fun, smart, chill, warm... Adulthood felt even lonelier without her.

Part of me concluded "good riddance" if she'd react like that to a simple honnest mistake, but part of me is like,"damn but we were doing so good together, that could have been avoided so easily".

TL;DR: 3 years ago IFU by forgetting to wish a happy birthday to my best friend of 6 years and that made her quit being my friend. I still feel bitter about it.

Cloud sweater pattern understanding

Hello team !! I’m struggling with this section, as after casting on 20 s on my right needle (as we’re working on the right shoulder) it says to continue onto the left shoulder, but how ?? I do not comprehend how is it possible the way things are (left shoulder stitches behind on hold).
It doesn’t say to put them back on the needles, hence my confusion.

Thanks in advance!

International Transfers with Job requisitions

Hello ! We're moving on with the Change Job templates (it was about time!) and as we were testing the International Transfer Template, we noticed that the departing countrie's HR cannot select the Open JR position in the destination country. That's security: HR Partners form a country can only see JR of their country. So I'm confused because how are we supposed to tell HR to use f*** JR for transfers (so that they have history of open positions, actual initial finance approval...) when they actually can't select them in the Template because it's outside of their scope ? I mean...that's kind of the point ?!

And because they can't see the JR they can't create a prospect and put it on the destination JR.

It's not like we can tell the destination country to initiate the change job process, because, again, they don't have the security for that !!

Should we abandon using JR for International Transfers and just Move Position with the worker ? What do YOU do at your company ?

Inspo for a 1770s Robe à la Française

I wil attend next year's Fêtes Galantes in Versailles and I'd like to make my own dress. The website says it has to be a Baroque style costume so I'm thinking of going for a Robe à la Française for the shape.

Now, for the colors, I'd like to have a little fun and make a subtle cosplay reference (I never did cosplay before, neither did I make anything historic). I saw a baby Blue and Salmon Pink dress that reminded me of the Princess and the Pauper (Barbie film) and I loved the idea. But I'm not a fan of that specific film. I'm very into other early 2000 Barbie films, Disney, and my general inspo at first were Catherines' costumes in The Great because she was FABULOUS, but I'm very brunette so butter yellow isn't a good fit on me. Otherwise, I also looked at a few of Claire's dresses in Outlander (especially when she is in Paris/Versailles) and appreciated a few.

Finally, I'm stuck on a dark green dress made by Maria Juterud but I'm afraid it's not Baroque enough for the Fêtes Galantes ? But it's cosplayable by making the coset black, adding some embroidery making it Anna (Frozen) inspired...

Do you have ideas ? A cosplay inspired Baroque dress you're dying to see ?

Thanks for your inputs !

Edit : Thank you all for your inputs, I understand whilst the Fêtes website says "baroque" everything from actual baroque to rococco through française and anglaise is welcome as long as it's good quality.

Just making clear that I don't want to make a cosplay, just a character inspired color choice, that's it !

Additional question : should the pannier/fake butt fit the era of the style I go for ? Like with the Great anglaises gowns I think she wears two sides panniers that fake that exagerated hips, but in the last picture (Maria Juterud) I don't know if she's only wearing petticoats, or if she added the moon crescent cushions tide to the waist ? Could I make a gown of that sort but wear the side panniers ? If you have a guide of some sort on the Shape/structure of undergarments throughout the 17th and 18th century that'd be greatly appreciated !

Is the Pass Jeunes at Opéra de Paris a good deal ?

I live in Paris and am under 28 therefor the Youth Pass for the Paris Opera seams a good deal : 20€ for limited price seats at a "selection" of shows fpr the season.

I'm confused about the "selection". As I am very into the classics (old time Classical Ballets and Operas like Turandot, the Magic Flute, Romeo and Juliet, La Bayadère, Swan lake, Raymonda, Don Quixote...) and hate contemporary ballets, I'm scared the selection won't reflect my tastes and will be too restricted.

+I'm a little picky regarding placement for ballets as I need to be able to look at the muscles outlines, costumes details, facial expressions etc...

Anyone who has/used to own this pass and could tell me more about the content ?

Thank you !

How is the orchestra's tempo decided and can the dancers anticipate it ?

I was listening to the Blue bird variation and the Fouettés in the black swan variation and thought that they sound very fast paced in my playlist whereas when watching videos of performances it's much slower.

So I wondered, when there is a live orchestra at a performance, does the director know the tempo dancers trained on and adapt ? Or do the dancers have to adapt to the tempo the orchestra trained on ? Or is there a point they communicate and both try and train on the same tempo ?

Thanks!

Peut on utiliser un parapluie comme parasol ?

Hello !
