Invisible thread theory ?

Cut a long story short. Me and my husband have been together just over 8 years. We've just had our first baby together.

My work organised a surprise baby shower for me a couple of days before baby was born, which was really lovely and thoughtful. One of my work colleagues got in touch with my husbands mum secretly and asked for a baby photo of him for a game.

Anyways, I've never seen the picture until that day.... but look what were both wearing. What a crazy coincidence , I couldn't believe it when a colleague pointed it out.

sleep confusion

my baby has just started sleeping through the night with only one wake up. HALLELUJAH because its been rough . she has slept 8-8 for the past three nights but will only nap for 15 min to 1hr a day.

is this a cause for concern that she doesn't nap through the day or is this okay?

ive gained so much weight

baby is now 6 month old.

I have gained 4 stone since before getting pregnant and its really getting to me.

I feel so guilty stopping breastfeeding but I cant go on looking like this and I need to lose weight.

I would carry on breastfeeding if it meant I could still lose at least 2lbs a week but I dont think its possible and I don't want to affect little ones milk intake.

please can somebody tell me this is okay because I feel so guilty about it.

Hello 👋

I need a little advice please . I have my first baby who turns 6 month old this week.

She has shown all signs or readiness and of wanting to eat for weeks now

yesterday she had some puree carrots with breastmilk . We made a small bowls worth and offered her several spoonfuls and she was literally grabbing the spoon wanting more. I got worried because she had like atleast 6 good spoonfuls until she did a little gip and then turned her head so we stopped offering. Im worried with it been her first time ever eating I was sure I had read somewhere that it should only be one or two spoons max....

what do I do? do I just lessen the amount or do I give her what she wants and give her a big feed if that's what she wants? I dont want to hurt her obviously

Last night she was really crampy/gassy which i wondered about.

TIA.
