How do y'all design your seat latches?

I'm diy-ing a seat for my cb750 that fell into my lap. My original plan was to 3d print some L brackets to attach the bottom of the seat to the inside of the frame. But I really don't like these bolt holes and raw bolts just hanging out the side of the frame. Could y'all give me some ideas of how you attached your seats to the frame pipes?

1 into 2 intake and wiring box for 91-03 Honda cb750

There are versions of the intake for purchase online but their version was just a straight inlet. It would've stuck out the side of the bike and just eat water if it ever rained. So I had to dig into the highschool part of my brain to relearn how to use fusion 360, and make it myself. So instead of paying $153 for a part that would kind of suck, I spent $150 on a used printer and a roll of 95a TPU and did it myself + I have a printer now.

Also designed a wiring tray to tuck the wires under the seat, but I fear to print petg on a bambu A1 mini.

Ratty rattle can paint job ideas

This gas tank is ruined. I intend to make it worse while at least making it visually interesting.

I know everybody blames the previous owner over everything, but the previous owner seriously ruined this tank by sanding it with what appears to be a skotch-brite pad. Then they just left it outside for half a decade in the middle of the project. This is a cheap project so I have the budget for a few cans to finish it out and then clear coat to try to cover up the evil.

Anybody got any interesting ideas? I was either thinking grab a few cans and make a multi coloured graffiti mosaic, or paint it plain black so it doesn't draw a ton of attention. Was also planning to run automotive door rubber siding to run along the edges of the tank.

The seat is gonna be black with red diamond stitching made completely diy.

Found a very weird Corbin/Russel day long seat

Bought this weird thing off of Facebook marketplace for 50 bucks. Base pan is broken in multiple spots, was missing seat latch hardware, it's absolutely filthy, and it smells like mushrooms. The guy had no clue about it and just didn't like the feel of it on his bike when he bought so he was getting rid of it.

There were no stickers on it, but I know that this has a Corbin base pan. It's made of the same material as my other Corbin seat, uses the same hardware, and can accept my existing Corbin seats back rest. (I don't have my nice Corbin atm so pictures are next to a stock seat.)

It also has the foam and cover of a Russell Day long saddle. Last picture on the post is from their website.

Did someone spend a over 1500$ in today's money to have a Corbin made ($683 currently), send it to Russell to be recovered ($860 currently), then proceed to absolutely destroy it...?

Bottlecap choke cable

Just blew up my motor yesterday, so this really doesn't have any use to me but I had a brain wave and realized the choke cable knob was the same shape as a bottle cap. Feel like that's a pretty cheap mod that I haven't seen anywhere else so thought I'd share this information.

Anybody know a good way to carry a kickscoot on a motorcycle?

Going on a camping trip and noticed that the campground I'm going to has a skatepark. Been forever since I got my old scoot out and wanted to bring it but already have plans for the motorcycle(incredible back roads there and back that I don't want to miss.) My scoot of choice is my old Razor a5 lux that I used to ride to school with so it doesn't fit in any of my usual bags.

Unpainted speed bumbs should be illegal

Thank you city of Fredericksburg for the free bruise on my tailbone while I was out riding my Harley on route 1. Very cool.

V-twin MFG flamethrower header *buyer beware*

Wanted to bring attention to the quality on this one. Should have known it wouldn't be everything I hoped it was at such a sweet price point.

First off, the sound is incredible. Holy loud. I wanted a neighbor hater and I sure as fuck got one. However the paint that these came with from vtwin manufacturing is unacceptable. I'm not usually one to complain about products, I'm more of the "well shit I guess I made this bed now I have to sleep in it" kind of guy. Not gonna work here. Only been running this exhaust for a few months and it's already blown out by the heat.

Looking for some tire opinions

I'm not a fan of the tire combo that this 95 1200 came with when I bought it. Especially the dunlop on the front, feels like I'm about to lose it in every corner especially on loose dirt.

Was debating a dual sport set up or just give up on the dirt dreams and let my Kawasaki take care of camping trips from here on out. If I do give up on the dirtster idea, does anybody have opinions on the shinko 270 super classics? They look incredible but I'm not sure about how they would handle in the rain and such.

Opinions needed.

Fake cop cars

Anybody seen those empty Ford explorer interceptors parked in the grass in some intersections around Fredericksburg? It's not like they have cameras rolling in them, the batteries in the car would die because they leave them out for weeks at a time. What's that point of having them posted up like that?

Keep the bars or make it more comfortable?

I like the look and feel of these bars but I'm leaned forward too far for the kind of riding I do. Should I get taller risers with pull back, swap to T-bars, or suffer for the look I'm going for?

*P.S. don't mind the chopped fender, it's a temporary fender until I get my duckbill fender painted*

Is there a name for when strangers group up with you?

I don't know if it's a buddy system or what but now that the weather is getting warmer here in the US, everybody is getting their bikes out and riding again. Just today I had a group of 5 other bikers of all different manufacturers group up with me and we just road alongside each other until we had to split off and go our separate ways. One guy was an Indian, two Yamaha's that were probably already riding together, a newer Harley, and a fellow Kawasaki. Totally random and unplanned, but it made my day to ride together. Is there a name for this phenomenon or is it an unspoken rule. *Ape together strong* type shit.

Should I bite the bullet and buy the +$200 piece of metal or is there a better option

'95 sporty 1200 with the dual gauge bracket is broken. I assume this is a common issue when "previous owners" over tighten the bar clamp. Is there a cheaper semipermanent solution or should I just buy the overpriced replacement and do it correctly?
