OLED Monitor Win 11 HDR help

Hopefully this is an ok sub for this, but I have an LG 32GS95UE-B OLED monitor. In NVIDIA control panel I have color settings set to "Full" 10bpc and RGB. Since I got this I never really understood the HDR setup process through Windows 11 with the app. When going through the Win HDR process, the box always clipped around 600nits even though I believe this monitor goes up to 1300. The monitor is fully up to date too with it's software. Has anyone with this monitor set it up properly? Can someone who understand this better than I just help me set this up so I never have to bother with it again please? Thanks ya'll

Question about Facebook Marketplace deal

Hello,

I found someone selling their brand new still in box 65” C5 that he’s selling for $1200. I’d be traveling 2+ hours and we negotiated $900, but I drive to his house, unbox the tv to check the screen, etc. He also told me he has the original receipt for the 5 year warranty that he’ll give me.

I don’t know much about the prices for these TV’s (also first time using FB marketplace), just wondering if it’s worth the hassle, or will there be deals like this this year for that size tv that I should just wait for? Thank you all.

Thoughts on the Razer Seiren v3 Chroma for $40?

I've never owned a Razer product, but while on vacation I was at a Target and they had on clearance a bunch of headsets/mics. I happened to see this one that's the RGB version and figured I'd grab it now and just return if I didn't like it (I felt like I needed to upgrade from a 10 year Yeti mic so it works out lol). I will only really use this when I'm gaming with the boys but I was just curious what people think about it since I can't use it until I'm back home. Thanks ya'll!

New Switch 2 owner!

This is the first Nintendo console I’ve ever bought with my own money I think I could cry! Just joined this sub as well and can’t wait to see the daily posts, see what people are enjoying, etc. I guess my first question is - What are some MUST additions for cases/protectors, etc. that I should invest in right away? I did already apply a screen protector.

I’ve honestly only been playing in docked mode the last two days, but will try handheld mode tomorrow. Just wondering if there are other things out there that could enhance the handheld mode, cases for traveling with this, etc. Thank you and I can’t wait to see what the rest of the year brings for Switch 2 owners!

Trying to play my new Switch 2 in 4k docked

I just bought a switch 2 and trying to play on my 4k on my 32GS95UE-B PC monitor. The DP port has my PC is plugged into, and the other two HDMI ports are 2.1 so it should display 4k on the switch 2 in docked mode, right? The problem is, in the dock output info in the settings it says current output resolution is 2560x1400p. I tried forcing 4k in the switch settings but it stays the same. What am I doing wrong here?

Edit: I guess I'll just mention the first game I'm trying to play like this is Hades 2 if that matters.

[H] PayPal [W] Switch 2 first party games

Hello all!

I just got a Switch 2 a couple days ago but it’s just the console version so I don’t have any games to play. I’m only looking for first party games. Ones I’m interested in are:

- Mario Wonder Switch 2 version

- Tears of the Kingdom Switch 2 version

- Breathe of the Wild Switch 2 version

- DK Bonanza

- Pokopia

- Mario Kart World

I’m willing to buy multiple games if you give a decent discount on them. Thank you and please leave a comment here before reaching out via chat.

[USA] [H] PayPal [W] Nintendo Switch 2 first party games

Hello Gamesale sub!

After months of searching, I finally pulled the trigger on a Switch 2 the other day for a good price. The only down side is it was just the base console so I need some games to play.

I’m really only interested in first party Nintendo titles and am willing to buy multiple, but it depends on the game, price, condition, etc. So please, if you have any games you maybe finished and no longer play, I’d love to buy it off you so I can finally start my collection. I literally own nothing so even though a game might be popular (Zelda, Mario, etc.) I definitely don’t have it lol. Please comment on this post first before reaching out privately. Thank you!

New to Plex, avid movie buff looking to join a good server

Hi all!

Hopefully it's cool to make a post like this. I'm new to Plex and thankfully discovered this wonderful little sub. I'm a huge movie buff who tries to watch one movie a day, as well as the occasional tv show binge. I'm really looking for a server that is constantly adding new shows, films, etc. If anyone on here is hosting a server and has a spot for one more I'd love to join and take advantage of it. Thank you so much!

Alan Wake 2 on Xbox Series X has been a nightmare

I've been playing Alan Wake 2 on Xbox series X and this game has been a nightmare with issues to say the least. Constant lip sync/stuttering/freezing issues during cutscenes. I've already tried a ton of workarounds. This console is fine in other games I play and is only a year old. Plenty of space left on the SSD as well:

-reinstalled the game,

-Set Speaker + Headset format to Stereo Uncompressed

-Cleared blu ray disc cache

- Disabled quick resume

-Tried both quality vs performance modes

Every dialogue or cutscene moment is completely ruined in this game for me. I'm 10 hours into AW2 and it usually happens frequently, but as of late it really has ruined any sort of enjoyment when playing that I almost just want to stop and move on to another game.

It's crazy to me that Remedy never fixed this problem on console. Reading Reddit posts dating back to 2023. I contacted their support page on Remedy's site (which is Epic Games' dogshit support) where i had to dodge a million AI responses before talking to what I think was a real human, and they had no idea what they were talking about. As a big fan of Remedy and their games, this has put a real sour taste in my mouth, it has been THAT bad of an experience for me. I'm sure I'm shit out of luck here, but if anyone has experienced similar issues and has found a way to remedy this so it doesn't happen as often, I'd appreciate it.
