I just want to talk about how unsatisfying the ending to the crayon prix was. Yes I’m fine with Gil being treated badly, it’s funny, but it’s not just that in this episode. He actually crashes his car, he doesn’t get hurt or anything but he doesn’t get to try again and drive his car through the loop. Like the other guppies go through the loops but Gil doesn’t. I get this was trying to teach color mixing but at this point just get rid of the lesson so I can see my boy Gil finish the race. I like the other parts of the episode, maybe just not this one. A crew of repairman could have repaired Gil’s car and got it going. I’d rather everyone crash and the loops are left colored, it might disappoint but it sure is better than having the other guppies go through the loops while Gil just watches in distance. He is happy the purple loop is colored even without him but I don’t care, I’m not. Bubble Guppies DS handles it better, you race as any guppy and anyone INCLUDING GIL can win the race.

Yes that means you would have to consider Bubble Guppies retro if you called Yoshi’s Island retro in January 2011
