Alameda County supervisors corruption coming out more and more, connected to Shawn Wilson and Melissa Hernandez, with a group of citizens helped by Aisha Wahab

Aisha helps people will no one else does and gets things done. She's instrumental in taking down the massive corruption in ALCO supervisors. https://www.facebook.com/kiersten.mosswood.3/posts/alameda-county-board-of-supervisors-especially-supervisor-david-haubert-are-not-/1602188704760525/

https://www.facebook.com/ellen.ds.54/posts/pfbid0awtchgDqJYocWtEH24k2DYcEVhG9qShMbDB9kadtJgwBhEvTYM2KzkvQAi8W1TKNl

So, the ALCO supervisors, who 100% support Melissa Hernandez, who works for Haubart and is ACLO "healthcare director" has a massive fit and called Aisha Wahab all kinds of names for the AB 1193 bill which requires transparency in discretionary funding, bringing the oversite to the same level as the other county she represents, Santa Clara county. Why would they do that? Turns out it's needed because Haubart's chief of staff, Shawn Wilson, has growing bribery charges and is being investigated by the FBI in connection to the Duongs bribery cases in Oakland and San Leandro. Hmmm.

Oh yeah, and Wilson is close friends with Hernandez, and he and Hernandez's boyfriend showed up at Wahab's press conference about the ALCO children and family services nightmare that Wahab did a review on three YEARS ago to get them to improve it so MORE children do not die--read the Sophia Mason story and why ACLO has just paid $12 million to her family. They tried to intimidate Wahab and her witnesses there, and one of their toughs was also passing out Hernandez's absolutely disgusting lies of mailers to people. Hernandez is ALCO's "healthcare director," remember, it was on the ballot information, and has nothing to say about the children and family services failure, or her close friend Shawn Wilson.

And I can't even keep up with the outside money, over $4 million now, desperate to get Melissa Hernandez elected by flooding the airwaves and your mailbox with absolutely disgusting lies and hate about Aisha Wahab (and we know no one with a brain believes that) and lies about her accomplishment (because there are none, as mayor of Dublin, ALCO healthcare director, and BART director.)

More and more people are coming out with facts, investigating, and spreading the truth.

One picture, perfect analogy of big money buying corruption with Melissa Hernandez versus the little guy, Aisha Wahab doing the work

The insanity and corruption behind the Hernandez campaign is insane. Apparently she has enough money behind her to pay people to put up these HUGE signs with stakes everywhere without permission, but Melissa is nowhere to be seen. She won't do ANY public meetings. Has anyone been able to actually talk to her?

https://www.reddit.com/r/eastbay/comments/1va2f96/melissa_hernandez_gets_huge_outside_money_for/

SO many people are seeing the lies and the hate in her ads and mailers and see the corruption right away. It takes seconds to research facts. https://www.facebook.com/reel/1601184954932035/

If anyone has ANY facts of anything Hernandez has ACTUALLY done (for good), please share. https://melissahernandez2026.com/This is it. She has five sad "endorsements," and when you click on "more," it goes nowhere. BIG words for issues, and all it is is AI slop with no links to ANYTHING she has done, because there is nothing to link to.

It takes seconds to find facts about Wahab, including all of the actually facts from the hate ads, which are the exact opposite of what she has done. https://www.aishawahab.com/attackads

https://sd10.senate.ca.gov/

All it takes is all good people to stand up and do good things. All it takes for evil to prevail is good people to sit by and do nothing.

From East Bay Insiders reporting 8/3. https://eastbayinsiders.substack.com/So this is in addition to the over $3 million in outside dark money from PACS.

" 14TH CONGRESSIONAL DISTRICT

—OUTSIDE MONEY TO THE EXTREME—Melissa Hernandez’s campaign for the East Bay’s 14th Congressional District offered fresh evidence Friday that its political operation is being driven from outside the district.

—Hernandez raised $85,061 through 48 contributions, according to a federal filing posted on Friday.

—Not a single donation came from within the 14th Congressional District. The nearest contributors were from Mountain View and Salinas, while the overwhelming majority of contributions originated in Southern California, Texas, and New York.

—The filing reinforces the campaign’s evolution since Hernandez suffered decisive defeats in both June primaries.

—Much of the campaign’s public messaging has since aligned with millions of dollars in independent expenditures from the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) and its affiliated groups, while Washington, D.C.-based consultants have taken a more prominent role.

—Meanwhile, Hernandez has avoided public forums and media scrutiny, relying instead on a fundraising network with little apparent connection to the East Bay district she is seeking to represent.

FURTHER INVESTIGATIONS AND REFORMS NEEDED IN ALAMEDA COUNTY

For years Alameda County supervisors have routinely disregarded Alameda County Civil Grand Jury findings (like those regarding discretionary funds and the need for a real ethics policy, viable complaint process, and whistleblower protections). Even residents’ serious complaints—including those against the supervisors themselves and/or their staff—have been ignored due to the lack of process. Conflicts of interest abound. All of this needs to change now. This is why the state and other entities finally are getting involved.

SB 1193 provides a more transparent and accountable process for the allocation of county discretionary funds. The process is in keeping with the processes followed in other major counties. Despite what Supervisor Haubert and others would have you believe, the bill is not extreme, scary, punitive, or politically motivated. Current legitimate recipients still will be eligible to receive discretionary funds. For more information about SB 1193, read the text at https://legiscan.com/CA/text/SB1193/id/3369290, view the brief July 1st hearing (from about 1:53:00) at https://www.assembly.ca.gov/.../assembly-local-government..., read Senator Wahab’s letter to the editor in the Pleasanton Weekly (https://www.pleasantonweekly.com/.../letters-what-sb.../) and read the newspaper coverage (such as https://www.mercurynews.com/.../bill-targeting-alameda.../, and https://www.sfchronicle.com/.../alameda-supervisors...).

Because of their findings as outlined in a recently released report, the California Department of Social Services will be closely monitoring the Alameda County Department of Children and Family Services. See https://www.kron4.com/.../alameda-county-cps-leaving... and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gGfM_q8syQU&t=4s. The issue and the timeline belie shifty-eyed (view the KRON report to see what I mean) Haubert’s assertion that this is a political stunt. Speaking of political stunts, what would you call this (https://www.instagram.com/reel/DbY7bjZB8aT)?

As a Tri-Valley constituent of Alameda County Supervisorial District 1, I know that we have been ill served by our supervisor/supervisor’s staff on the Pleasanton side since late 2020. This was not simply because of the ongoing pandemic. Constituent service eroded to an unbelievable degree and remained that way. This resulted in significant harm to certain constituents. Some of us were directed to other supervisors’ offices for assistance. (Although she should not be holding two political jobs at the same time, I have heard better things about District 1 Fremont Field Director/Fremont City Councilmember Kathy Kimberlin. It is too bad that we were not allowed to deal with her.)

In his last year in office, the late Supervisor Haggerty made some very bad decisions that are adversely affecting this district and the county to this day. During the 2020 primary and general elections, his support of anyone but Vinnie Bacon to succeed him was one of the reasons that the district ended up in the unsavory hands of the self-serving and corrupt David Haubert, a leader of Dublin’s political machine. When one of Haggerty’s best assistants left a few months before the end of his final supervisorial term, Haggerty replaced him with the incompetent, overly ambitious, and ethically challenged Melissa Hernandez. In 2020 Dublin Councilmember Hernandez also made a failed bid for Haggerty’s seat in the primary election and then won the mayoral election in November. Although Hernandez told various people that she was aware of the conflicts of interest (actual rather than potential in her case) involved with holding both city and county positions and would be resigning from the county position at the end of Haggerty’s term, she decided to remain in the supervisor’s assistant position and failed to recuse herself in some important matters. Her excuse for not relinquishing the District 1 job was that she could not live on the mayor’s salary alone. Somehow it did not seem to occur to her that she should try to get a non-political day job.

Hernandez continues to hold multiple political jobs (now District 1 “health care director” and BART board director/president). Both are taking a back seat to her disreputable congressional campaign. In the almost ten years since she first was elected to public office, Hernandez has failed to learn the basics of public service and do even one job well. Playing up to potential donors, endorsers, and political allies doesn’t count.

The District 1 office has become the base for the anti-SB 1193 effort and an adjunct of the Hernandez for Congress campaign. Haubert’s newsletters, statements, and other activities and Hernandez’s statements and activities certainly support this. In an office where so many constituents have been underserved, this behavior is even more inappropriate. They should be doing the people’s business. Haubert purposely created a panic within the nonprofit community with his lies. As instructed, representatives of some of these organizations provided public comments at an April Board of Supervisors meeting and often repeated Haubert’s talking points (including some of the scurrilous allegations) almost word for word. The fact that some of these individuals feel personally beholden to Haubert strengthens the case for SB 1193. If you are a California resident and agree with us, call your assemblymember and ask him/her/them to support SB 1193.

In addition to the current investigation involving District 1 Chief of Staff Shawn Wilson, the District 1 office as a whole (and Haubert and Hernandez in particular) need to be investigated. Haubert and Hernandez still are putting themselves first, profiting from their positions, and lying to their constituents and the public at large. Enough is enough.

And if that's not enough, this is the guy Haubart and the ALCO supervisors are lauding for his great podcast against SB1198 https://patch.com/california/livermore/past-haunts-tri-valley-education-board-candidate

Do the attack ads/smear campaign by Melissa Hernandez sway you to vote for or against her?

I guess we can't create polls on eastbay, so yes or no, and any response you want.

If you want actual facts: https://www.aishawahab.com/

I can't even find Hernandez's page. It seems to have been deleted.

I know I've been spending years trying to learn all of this, and this is such a great primer.

Melissa Hernandez gets huge outside money for blatant, gross lies as the facts come out about all of hers.

Please copy and paste this as much as you want to inform people of facts, and add any you have, especially in response to all of the disgusting ads.

https://eastbayinsiders.substack.com/p/divorced-from-reality?img=https%3A%2F%2Fsubstack-post-media.s3.amazonaws.com%2Fpublic%2Fimages%2Fc4e0674b-f56d-4361-8b47-510542501896_4032x3024.heic&open=false

The EBI has been doing a great job of reporting. (Totally worth if for $40 a year to get all east bay news. Not affiliated at all, but so happy to have someone willing to do all of this hard work for us. )

I'm sure everyone has now seen the absolutely disgusting tv ads Hernandez personally endorses lying about Wahab being against stopping fentanyl and child trafficking, but all of the lies about herself are coming out. "Poor hard working single mom" gets massive money from divorce settlement, never really works full time, and from two different people I know personally who know her, drives several very expensive cars, a Mercedes and a Range Rover. (Coincidentally, her good friend Shawn Wilson, now implicated in the Duong scandal and being investigated by the FBL, you know, he works for supervisor Haubart as well as Hernandez, also drives several very expensive cars.

From EBI: "The story of Melissa Hernandez putting herself through college as a single mother raising two children has become one of the defining themes of her campaign for Congress.

Campaign mailers, speeches and literature repeatedly describe Hernandez as “the daughter of migrant farmworkers who worked her way through college while raising two kids,” while another states she was “a working mom paying her way through college.”

But divorce records filed in Alameda County Superior Court between 2014 and 2016 provide a far more nuanced account of that period of Hernandez’s life.

While Hernandez’s description of being a single mother is not untrue on its face, she received great financial benefits that most single mothers have little access to lessening their day-to-day burdens, including generous spousal and child support, ability to live in a suburban single-family home, a Benz and a boat.

The court filings indicate Hernandez returned to Cal State East Bay on a part-time basis after separating from her husband and expected to complete her degree in January 2016. She did not until several years later at age 43.

Hernandez had long worked as an office manager for a dentist office, but only part-time. She was not idle, though, volunteering for the local Rotary, Little League, serving on a board appointed by Rep. Eric Swalwell, and preparing a run for the Dublin City Council, according to the filing.

But her estranged husband, a sales executive for a multinational cheese company, questioned Hernandez’s commitment to attaining her degree. “Melissa has been evasive about her school endeavors despite her equal obligation to support our children and her obligation to continue her own support.” A request for course taken since 2013 returned a single document detailing registering for two courses.

—The filings also show Hernandez received significant financial support during the divorce proceedings.

Court records awarded spousal support of $2,250 per month through 2021, child support for her teenagers beginning at $4,383 per month before increasing to $5,000, approximately $200,000 in a Morgan Stanley account, $10,000 to pay off credit card debt, and other marital assets, including a Mercedes-Benz and a boat. The settlement also provided for Hernandez to purchase her former husband’s interest in the family home.

Throughout the proceedings, Hernandez’s then-husband repeatedly questioned her educational progress and willingness to seek full-time employment. In court filings, he stated Hernandez had been “evasive about her school endeavors” and requested documentation of the classes she had taken since 2015. According to the filings, the response consisted of documentation showing enrollment in two courses.

The estranged husband again asked about Hernandez’s progress at school to no avail, according to a filing. “Melissa represented she would be done with school in January 2016.” he wrote in April 2016. “Like so many other statements, Melissa’s words were proven untrue,” he added.

He also requested that Hernandez undergo a vocational evaluation, which he initially offered to pay for, arguing she had sufficient time to work full time given her volunteer commitments. A later vocational evaluator ultimately recommended Hernandez continue working part time while completing school.

The divorce also became contentious over the date of separation, delaying resolution of property issues and spousal support. Hernandez initially disputed the separation date for one year, while her husband argued the marriage had effectively ended in September 2013.

The campaign’s repeated description of Hernandez “putting herself through college” and doing so as a “single mom” does not mention the financial support detailed in the divorce records, leaving voters to decide whether the campaign’s characterization fully reflects the circumstances documented in court filings."

And from me, if you are not aware.

She is not qualified for this position. She has yet to give any actual facts as to how SHE” built housing, lowered healthcare costs, or got childcare for people. " Voting on work other people did does not count.. Additionally, she won’t clarify her relationship with Shawn Wilson, whom apparently she works closely and vacations with? ? And he has been accused of attempting to bribe someone for Haubert, and he took $10,000 from the Duong's, and he still works for Haubart and is going on a $9,000 taxpayer funded trip to New Orleans with Haubert. The FBI is now digging into the allegations. https://www.reddit.com/r/DublinCA/comments/1v8mhsh/comment/p07i4oa/?context=1&screen_view_count=6  Is she for or against SB1193, which is transparency in discretionary funding for ALCO supervisors? I think bribery is a big concern. As well as the mess of ALCO's Children and Family Services. Weren't you "healthcare director" for ALCO? What do she have to say about this? How can anyone think she can go to this corrupt congress when she can't even give simple facts or speak out against corruption? Now she has AIPAC giving her over $2 MILLION dollars to fund disgusting lies in mailers?  https://www.trackaipac.com/states/israel-first-candidates What is WRONG with her  ALL of them are easily disproven. Why do she LIE so much? https://www.aishawahab.com/attackads

This is not just me and the local reporters. The woman who has been outing Shawn Wilson's attempted bribery of her is all over this and Haubart. There are many more people coming out about everything.

More coming out by the minute: https://www.facebook.com/watch?v=1001538639369679 The whole press conference about the failure of children and family services, which Hernandez was in charge of. The state is about to take it over. https://www.facebook.com/SenAishaWahab/videos/2286700372064810

She's now over $3 million in outside spending on her. https://capitolhillaccess.com/tr/tr_TM_IEP?&sChamber=H&sStateDist=CA-14&sCycle=2026

7/30 https://eastbayinsiders.substack.com/p/club-fed And now more on the FBI and Shawn Wiison. "Wilson was only one of several county officials mentioned in last week’s filings.

The government’s motions contain a series of new allegations that provide greater insight into its case ahead of the Oct. 19 trial and suggest prosecutors intend to present evidence involving a widening circle of former and current public officials.

Despite the allegations and the potential damage to public confidence in Supervisor Haubert’s office, Wilson appears to remain in his position. Two of the five chiefs of staff serving the Board of Supervisors are now identified in federal court filings—one accused of accepting money from the Duongs, the other described as working for a Duong-backed company with the expectation of future commissions."

And Hernandez's staff harassing Wahab at a press conference about the massive failure of ALCO's children d family services, which may well be headed for a state takeover.

SO much corruption.

Hayward Herald on upcoming elections

https://haywardherald.org/local-elections-2026-what-we-know-so-far/?ref=hayward-herald-newsletter

There are some changes with the new district elections. How to run for an office. You are certainly more capable than some candidates.

The usual useless rightwingnuts are running for a bunch of offices. Tom Wong--not very smart, complains a lot and does zero to help anything. Luis Reynoso--rather a nutjob who got a couple of seats once, did zero to help anyone, and cost the city a lot of money for lawsuits he caused. Joe Ramos--Really not smart and never does anything, and is as awful as they are. All of them have done zero to help anyone, ever.
