Advice for a Coward attending HHH

So I've been invited to HHH by some friends and everything's been set for us to meet up at HHN.

The only real problem is that, I'm somewhat of a wuss when it comes to horror. My mind has always been somewhere between disliking things like jumpscares and saying they're bad because its "cheap horror" or because it always gets a flinch out of me (even if the jumpscare is fairly low quality). I'm easily paranoid and don't really interact with horror all that often because of my paranoia. So, I'm a big scaredy-cat you could say.

Everything's set-in-stone and simply declining the invitation is not an option for me.

So I wanted to ask for possible advice for helping a coward like me get through HHN. I'm generally open to anything. Not sure the effectiveness of playing scary video games or watching horror flicks before HHN. There also might be actual tactics to employ at the event itself? There was this anime I watched where the protagonist simply ignored all the scary creatures she saw in her day-to-day life and I was thinking of maybe trying to go as poker faced as I could through the event.

Anything/Everything, I'd love to hear it!

A simple solution for playing Switch 2 on my PC

I used a Elgato HD60 Pro on my old pc, but I built a new PC and my new motherboard doesn't support it. I'm trying to scout around for other alternative solutions that might be easier than a capture card that has an input/output port like my current one. I found this one that seems a lot simpler than the one I'm using, but I'm a little skeptical about how well it works.

Does anyone have any good recommendations for something simple with no input delay? It'd be perfect if I can play it straight off my desktop without having to switch display inputs, but I'll take what I can get. And it'd be even better if it works via a usb slot.

AMD Adrenalin Software Indefinitely Installing & Updating

I tried to open up Davinci Resolve and I got met with an error that stated that the application cannot initialize OpenGL and that I need to update my graphic drivers. So I tried booting up AMD Adrenalin but it said that it needed an update. So I clicked the button to update it and it ran a small installation and update but then it brought me back to the update screen, saying that I needed to update it to use the software, despite literally just updating it. Can anybody help me with this? I'm worried something major is happening with my PC and I'm kinda scared

RayMMD lighting for interiors

So I've recently started using RayMMD. I'm still very much a novice at it but I really like how even the basic lighting looks when using RayMMD.

However, I noticed that a lot of tutorials lean towards outside or open stages with not a lot of props. A lot of the stages I've been using are interiors. I've noticed the main issue why people use outdoor areas is because of map props getting in the way and casting nasty shadows.

I wanted to ask if anyone had any advice about getting proper lighting for interior spaces. Whether it be strategies to help minimize the harsh lighting or other effects/skyboxes that are made for interiors.

Florida Aquarium Student Discount

A friend from out of state really wants to visit the Florida Aquarium, and I'm a college student and want to see if we can visit the place for cheaper. I'm assuming that if I buy the pass online I won't be eligible for a student discount. Is it cool for me to just show up and buy admission at the door so I can get a student discount?

I know its a bit of a stupid question, but hear me out because I am stupid.

I'm planning on heading to a con soon and I have this one-of-a-kind metal poster that I'd love for some voice actors to sign. But I'm worried that, because this is a metal poster and not a paper poster, the signature will get wiped off fairly easily.

A friend suggested getting some blank white stickers to put on and have them sign that so it doesn't get wiped away, but I wanted to hear other suggestions or ideas that people might have
