G7 Pro keeps disconnecting and reconnecting (with 2.4GHz dongle) on PC

It didn’t do this before, but now it’s bad. While playing GTA San Andreas, it’ll disconnected then reconnect without me doing anything. I have the polling rate set to 500 using the Nexus app and everything is updated.

I thought it was probably my USB slot on the motherboard, so I tried each one and it still did the same thing. My keyboard and mouse (being wireless), doesn’t give me any problems.

Is there something I’m missing that’ll help solve this?

Wondering what I can do differently

This is what it is right now. Thinking of probably getting a monitor arm, but not sure which one

Edit: Got some pretty good recommendations. Most of it being a monitor arm which was on my list. I’ll definitely look for a bigger mouse pad and stuff to add to the walls. Thanks for the feedback!

Struggling to decide what to make my main platform. Xbox Series X or PC.

I understand I can use both especially since I have them, but I would like to only have one as my main.

Pros of Xbox: Plug and play, simple UI, no required 3rd party launchers (Ubisoft Connect, Rockstar, even Steam, etc).

Cons of Xbox: Achievements are server based (as an achievement hunter this matters a bit), less customization, less power than PC (depending on the build).

Pros of PC: More customization, more indie titles, option between keyboard and controller, achievements are local based first, profile customization on Steam is great, better performance.

Cons of PC: Frequent updates (Windows, GPU, whatever game launcher, and the game itself if needed), compatibility issues (based on build), performance issues (on some games/based on build). And whenever the game doesn’t boot up/work, you have to spend time troubleshooting why.

For whatever reason I have this internal debate and I’m not 100% sure why. It definitely bothers me more than it should. I also understand I should be playing in whatever makes me happy, but I still have that debate.

I’m not looking for a straight “this one is better”, but mostly what others think, do, and their opinions.

Edit: PC specs are Ryzen 7 8700F, RTX 5070, 32GB of RAM if needed

Nightstalkers Bane drop

I’ve killed him maybe 10-15 times WITH the 20% luck stuffed Axl.

I’ve gotten nothing. My RNG is absolutely trash it makes me want to go try a lottery ticket

No clue where to build my base

There’s so many options. I’m thinking under the bench near the ranger outpost, but also thinking of building above the Greenhouse and making a zip line tower.

Side note, I love this game so much and it’s not even fully released yet

Is candy meant to respawn?

They didn’t in G1, so I thought it would be the same for G2. I destroyed the 3 mints in front of the stand, then after some time went back and found all 3 back.

Is that intentional?

Edit: Turns out candy does respawn in G1 and never knew that

Wanting to buy and play Grounded 2, but don't want to start over

Pretty much the title. I really want to play, but don't want to invest the time and effort just to not get far, and then when the game fully releases, go through everything again. I enjoyed the first game so much I got every achievement on Xbox. Is it just as fun or even better?

Is the PC performance for Grounded 2 any better?

Back when it first launched it was terrible…even on the Series X. A about half a year ago I gave it another shot on both and it was still rough.

Is it any better now? I don’t want to redownload it just to experience the same thing (my internet isn’t too great so it’s a while) and get hit with disappointment

If you have a Passkey, is using an authentication app/code necessary?

I’m learning how I can protect my accounts, but I noticed there’s plenty of ways to do so. I’ve learned that authentication codes and Passkeys are the safest, but Passkeys being the best.

Is using both necessary?

Gears Reloaded servers are dead

Sat 15 minutes waiting for a match. Found one. Great!

Played match out, left and tried to find a new lobby. Ended up with the same players. Okay cool, I’ll retry. Same players again.

Joins KOTH. Exact same thing but with different people.

It’s sad to see as it’s been less than a year since the game dropped.

Edit: I'm aware Gears 5 is still very well alive. I play it often. I just finished Gears Reloaded on Insane and wanted to try some multiplayer

Far Cry 3: Classic Edition. "All In" mission bug

Spoilers ofc.

I'm at the section where I interrogate Riley. After I land the first punch, its stuck in an animation loop. I looked it up and see its a problem, but I've tried every solution I can find for Xbox and nothing is working.

Has anyone found a proper solution that works every time? I see that I'm so close to finishing and this happening sucks.

Do you guys leave a review for games?

If so, do you leave one based on how difficult getting the 100% was, based on story, gameplay, etc, or both.

I find myself being influenced by both, but since not everyone achievement hunts half my review doesn’t make sense/matter

Edit: I’m mean in general lol. On Xbox, TA, etc.

Dead Island 2 Sola DLC achievement bug

I finished the mission "The Beat Is On" and was supposed to unlock "No Encore". Problem? It didn't. Turns out this achievement is buggy. If anyone is don't the DLC and doesn't mind if I hope in, I would appreciate it.

Could anyone explain why these are big news?

Keep seeing everyone post these on Twitter with excitement. Is there a reason why? I feel like I’m missing some context lol

How do you decided what you play next?

Not even for achievements. Just for fun. I'm stuck staring at my screen not knowing what to play and it's such a waste of time. I end up playing Ranked games on Siege then get off after 2 matches
