Decided to upgrade from my 12.9 inch M1 when the price rises were announced. Saw this iPad advertised as “As New” sold by Amazon Warehouse in my country for the equivalent of $1403, and decided to grab it. I was a little nervous as I had read some horror stories about used purchases from Amazon, so opened it up as soon as it arrived so I could return it if necessary. The iPad arrived with the original plastic wrapping from outside the box removed. However, the IPad was still inside the original paper wrap which had a few tears but didn’t look like it had been removed. There is no obvious damage, and the battery shows 2 cycles which I assume means it is in like new condition as advertised. The only downside is that the IPad comes up as no longer eligible for AppleCare. Overall, I’m pretty happy with my purchase as it is $US968 cheaper than an equivalent refurbished model from the Apple Store.

A relative received this text from Telstra:
“Hi (name), your internet service at (suburb) is on mobile backup only. Reset now to stabilise your full connection -> Turn off your Smart Modem and NBN connection box. Check all cables and wait 2 mins, then turn back on again. We will contact you via SMS from 0457918086 if further action is needed”.
Does this mean there is a service outage in their area, or just a problem with their Modem and/or NBN box?
After all, the hunt is not as nearly as much fun when they are too drunk to be terrified, and now I know where not only she, but her entire family, live for next time.
A week after I stopped, she started appearing in my room at night again to remind me all those other “doctors” were all just actors trying to convince me I was mentally ill.
