If we as women are supposed to wear bras, men should too. Do you like seeing men’s nipples through their shirts? Why is this not an equal standard?

I recently moved here from California and went shopping over the weekend in rockwall and mesquite. I shop in the men’s section, and am a gay woman, and the men shopping would quickly go to a rack away from me if I was looking at rack near them. A woman at one point came up to me and she looked confused and asked if the jeans I was looking at were woman’s and I told her no they are men’s. She looked like she saw a ghost and then basically vanished.

In California people didn’t really seem to blink an eye, here it appears to be a problem. What is the culture or attitude people have about this?

I’ve had two colonoscopy’s and for my second one my fiancee tried to make me feel better by saying “this is what they do for a living, they see peoples butts all the time”. For a little while this helped. However, I was about to get the colonoscopy and had just received anesthesia when I had the thought (with 5 people surrounding/starring at me as I’m slipping away to sleep) What kind of people go to school knowing that they will have to do these types of procedures on people?!

Having that thought has left me very uncomfortable with this type or similar procedures, what comforts you ?

I find it creepy to think that we interact with murderers at some point in our lives. So many unsolved cases means killers on the run. Recently a woman was arrested for a murder in 2012 in Arlington, TX. There’s pictures of her being a real estate agent since and she her dna was taken from a fork that she left behind at a restaurant while eating with friends. It blows my mind that the whole time she knew exactly what she did and was capable of but pretended to be a normal member of society.

I (30/F) have been with my girlfriend (26/F) for 3 years. My girlfriend needs a lot of reassurance. Tonight we got into an argument and over the span of 20 maybe 30 minutes she asked me to reassure her at least 5 different times that we will communicate better going forward. Sometimes she will also say “you aren’t listening to me repeat back what I said” - I hate that because it makes me feel like a kid which I’ve told her but she disregards. I think it comes back to reassurance I am listening… any advice for how to deal with this or am I being heartless by getting exhausted by having to be reassuring?

I am 30F and partner is 26F. We just moved to a hot climate where the weather in the summer is typically 95-105 degrees (Fahrenheit). We live in a 2b 2b apartment that is around 1000 sq ft. My partner wants to set the thermostat to 67 degrees and leave it there because it gets too hot during the day. Even though it is set to 67 it usually sits at 74, which is why she insists on it being 67 because 74 is too hot for her. I have tried to compromise by setting it at 70 or 71 but she insists that’s too hot. Our electric bill is on track to be $300 this month. Any advice on how to handle this?

My partner (she is 26F and I am 29F) of 3 years insists on using whatever towel she reaches for first after a shower, even one that isn’t hers. I
prefer my own towel, after all I did just shower and am at my cleanest and will be drying my face especially with my towel.

Anyway any advice on how to handle this so I can have my own towel back after 3 years of this? I’ve spoken to her several times about this and she says she will try or gets defensive saying I find her gross… SOS

I’ve noticed for the 10pm weather forecast that it seems like Pete goes out of his way (in the most cringey way) to make jokes about Cynthia and blows off basically any men that are at the table with him. Cynthia to me looks uncomfortable and anyone else around. Last night he made a joke that Cynthia has always wanted to go on a date with him.

I have some good arm muscle and some abs, nothing crazy but enough to tell that I’m fit and lift.

I enjoy working out and thought maybe it could be a plus for getting girls - is muscle just like eh for girls? Or is wearing actual guy clothing just a turn off?

In January I got the ignition lock cylinder protective sleeve installed on my Kia forte as a complementary service. Since then I have had reoccurring problems of my steering wheel locking up and not being able to turn my key in ignition to the point where I have to have a mobile mechanic come out to do his tricks to get it to unlock.

Kia says that there is no way that the ignition lock cylinder protective sleeve is causing the problem. Has anyone had this issue or know enough about cars to know if my problem could be related?

I am not getting a new lock cylinder for my car and one person told me since I had the protective sleeve the lock cylinder is more expensive to fix and then another person at the dealership told me that’s not true. Does anyone know about this by chance?
