Why would you use Nass controls over Nwpo controls?

Nass type controls: DARs on shoulders, poweslide on square, air roll on square. I see a lot of players use this

Nwpo controls: DARs on shoulders, powerslide on square

DAR covers every movement you can do easily and optimally, even if you don’t know both. Ofc we see this with Nwpo. It seems like having air roll on square as well as powerslide would just cause accidental air roll when you’re trying to powerslide while landing

How to approach fixing all of these issues?

Backstory: I started calisthenics in grade 10, was all going well. Eventually costochondritis. Then right scapular dyskinesis (rounded forward I believe, worsened over time). Then left elbow tendinitis as soon as I started playing badminton for a bit, and now it’s inner elbow too.

Tried solving these myself originally, first with trying to slowly take a break and lightly get back into push ups and stuff starting with wall, then diagonal etc. For elbow I was doing those wrist exercises like palm down wrist curl. So all the recommended recovery methods. I sorta just accepted the shoulder thing for so long which has gotten so bad I cant stand or sit without being a little uncomfortable.

Unfortunately nothing helped and I’m stupid and didn’t take it seriously enough to go to physiotherapy. These might all be chronic issues now. I’m 18 now and have been so focused on school and stuff, I went to physiotherapy at my the University of Calgary sports medicine centre just for the shoulder, with my reasoning being that it was bugging me the most so I wanted to focus on that (looking back I get more and more confused as to why I make these nonsensical choices). I noticed no change at all after a month and a half of consistently doing them and now I have big final exams plus got sick for a week and stopped doing the exercises for the past few weeks.

Exercises for shoulder:

Band W row

Shoulder external rotation concentric, 90 degree flexion

Serratus wall slide + external rotation, unilateral, around corner

Laying down scapular protraction with dumbbell

So I was gonna go back for a follow up appointment in a week, but the original therapist is booked for 2 months. Also I need to figure out the other issues.

I don’t want to end up wasting more time or wasting appointments by not giving important info or asking the right questions. I’ve got summer break coming up and then first year engineering after that which won’t be great. Should I go get X rays myself or something beforehand? I think I’ll have to book another “new appointment” with another therapist there.

I’m so lost man I’ve been demotivated completely for the past half a year. Even gave up running. Been using the desktop computer so much too now which might just be making the shoulder thing worse. I’ve just been making bad decision after bad decision when it comes to recovery, so I just want to know what the right things to do are at this moment, whether it be how to approach physiotherapy or what actions I should be taking etc. Pains me to admit this but I have posted on here multiple times before for these issues and didn’t follow the advice seriously enough (procrastinating on doing what was recommended) and I’m sorry, but I promise I will now, although i recognize it’s probably gotten to a maybe not fully reversible point since these problems have been here for so long. Sincerely appreciate and will heed all advice

Is there a speed difference between qbit and libtorrent by default?

Qbit uses libtorrent library under the hood, but Im curious if say I used libtorrent python bindings default add torrent versus qbit api, if there would be a speed difference. Like does qbit have different defaults that might make it faster without tuning than whatever defaults libtorrent library has by default?

Where did intellisense go

Just randomly some time I stopped getting highlighting and intellisense but Ctrl + Space works. I'm in WSL using python with venv, correct interpreter is selected, errors when theres a mistake and detects libraries but no intellisense at all. Dumbass claude cant even figure out what it is. Tried reinstalling all python libraries reloading yiou name it but nothing.

EDIT FOR ANYONE SEEING THIS IN FUTURE:

If ur using copilot, 5 days ago vscode made the stupidest fucking commit I’ve ever seen in changing the default to autocomplete off when using copilot. Edit quick suggestions in settings.json to “on” not “off…”

What is the engineering average this year?

I found it for UofC pretty easily it’s 92, how about here? I got in with 88 early admission here meanwhile the UofC cutoff early was 94 I believe. is it that much less competitive

[AP Calc AB] can’t decipher this question

Question:

Region R is the base of a solid whose cross sections perpendicular to the x-axis are semicircles with diameters on the xy-plane. Write, but do not evaluate, an integral expression that gives the volume of this solid.

What is this asking? Sure I understand I need to fjnd volume but I don’t get what the shape I’m supposed to make in my head is. I’m scared for the test now, what if I don’t even get what questions are asking. What’s the process to breaking questions down to understand them? Thank you

[AP Calculus AB] How do I get the displacement here with TI-84

Question: Find the position of the particle at time t = 4. Is the particle moving toward the origin or away from the origin at time t=4?

Since distance function is antiderivative of velocity function I’m trying to get that and plug in 4 for x but I don’t know how

Am I done for big tech future

So I just learned I was probably good enough to get into comp sci judging from ppl I know who got in but I underestimated myself. Well I’m prob going to UofC or UofA engineering and then electrical. Is there hope or should I do a gap year and apply UBC and here comp sci? Everywhere I get the impression it’s Waterloo tier 1, UBC and Toronto tier 2, the rest tier 3

I’m curious if any datasets created or used in research papers or big projects were created using piracy (or just breaking certain rules). How common is this. Cause I know Claude trained on pirated stuff but that’s text

Hi I want to make myself something in Python that finds top anime on MAL and downloads high quality episode torrents. Is there any existing code I could look at? One thing I’m wondering about is how to download episodes indiivduallt automatically when some anime only has a full season on Nyaa not each episode. Like idk how to handle all cases automatically. Btw where do the top sites get their torrents from, is it just Nyaa?

Hi, I’m currently in my last year of high school in Canada. Grades not good enough for comp sci or engineering at a great school like Waterloo, i would have to go to one in Alberta. But is that even the best option, or is it like electrical engineering or something and then try to go software? I’ve been programming since grade 6, it is undoubtedly my passion and I want to make it some way or another but a regular comp sci degree from a regular university I don’t know if I’ll ever get a job.
