How do you actually meet girls here?

Genuinely wondering. I'm not a clubbing guy who flails around on the dance floor, I only go to drink and listen to the music, I'm more composed and in control of myself, so never had any luck meeting anyone there. At uni, everyone is super cliquey, so no luck there either. What do you even do in bmth to date? Only had one gf through a friend and that's it.

New girlfriend (24F), doubting she actually wants to be with me (M24).

So we both organized a trip to her city for 6 nights. Today is day 3 and the vibe has died completely. Before we were making plans getting excited to visit our favorite pub, watch a romantic movie, cuddle, relax etc... Well we ended up watching some movies, just sat apart a bit, then she spent most of her time in her room while I'm basically spending the whole 6 days together sleeping on the sofa, or just watching TV by myself until the evening when she comes down to cook, watch a movie with me then go to bed early to scroll TikTok.

Last night I ask her to be official finally (we planned this and picked out a ring together), she was nervously laughing and a bit hesitant, then agreed. Not sure if she's waiting for me to leave to break it to me that she's not ready or what. What was weird on the phone before the trip she said she missed me, said we're not going to have sex again until I ask her out, now suddenly that I'm here for a second time around she's asexual again and wants t wait a year again. Feel I massively wasted my time coming. I have no clue whether I did something or what. We had a chat she said her love language is service such as cooking for me and she stroked my hair once.

Today we just sat on the sofa, on our phones in silence before she went to take a nap, doesn't want to go out, play a card game or anything. We tried charades, I played it wrong and she said games is not our thing and just doesn't feel like doing anything at all. Have no clue what's the point of me being here if I'm just gonna be sat on the sofa in silence.

Is this relationship DOA or what? This time was weird because last time it was more intimate.

tl:dr = Finally went on a trip to see my gf for 7 nights, we've just been apart most of the time.

Rats are really cute

I never understood why people are afraid of rats or just hate them. They're really cute and innocent. They can even be domesticated easy. I get they could potentially carry diseases but it doesn't mean you have to lick them or stroke them then put your hand in your mouth, you're not likely to catch a disease if you just leave them alone. Also it's not like they're creepy and alien looking like a spider, i fully understand why someone might hate spiders.

I (24M) and girl (24F) going through a rough LDR, how do I go about it?

This girl i'm dating went to another city for 6 months, so it's a temporary LDR. I think i upset her during the last phone call, she called me as i was walking back from the gym. i got back home during the call, took the bins out, made my protein shake, she abruptly said "I'll let you go eat" I said "Oh no I'm just making a quick shake" she said "Well I'm going any way" then when i was saying "Alright, talk to you later if you want" she just ended the call abruptly as i was saying it.

I have no clue what i did to upset her, maybe she thought I wasn't giving her attention and she was in my way or something? Not talking to me now which is lovely... I don't think this LDR will last considering how she seems to be getting increasingly subtly hostile over the phone and it's only been like 2 days since we were apart. What do I even do...?

What can I do to fix ruining the last night me and my date will have for 6 months?

Yesterday, I went out with this girl I've been seeing for 2 months, not official but exclusive. Tomorrow she is leaving for 6 months to a new city. I don't fully want to discuss the reason for privacy, however I would say my reaction wasn't the best.

When we were walking back she offered to buy me chocolate, I said "I'm good bro, but thanks" at which she was like "What do you mean by bro?" I pretended I didn't care about the situation but she could sort of feel I was pulling back a bit. When we got to her place, instead of our usual kiss goodbye, she gave me an awkward hug and a kiss on my shoulder.

When i texted her in the morning she just gave me a flat, short, unenthusiastic answer before not really talking all day.

I did end up sending an apology like 2 hours ago but no response. I may have ruined it I can't lie. She's out of the city tomorrow.

TLDR - I got in my head and ruined our last time out for half a year

Do you think I went a bit far blocking her for talking to another guy?

So i went out with my new (now ex) gf and our mutual group, towards the end of the night we sort of got separated, no reply over text or phone calls. Me and my friend I was with left the place to find them, found her outside just chatting to this guy, full on just giggling and just super absorbed into his convo, she didn't even acknowledge me or introduce me, the guy even just turned his back onto me and our other friend so he can just talk to her. My friend called out his behaviour to me saying like, "did you see how he's blocking us out" etc... So I told our friend to make sure she gets home safe and got the first taxi and blocked her.

Am I in the wrong texting another girl when my current date doesn't want us to be official?

Went on our 10th date, we've been seeing each other 2 months, she keeps dodging the question when I asked her to be official, so on our date, she wanted to see my messages, I instantly turned my phone away and she got super suspicious and upset. She expects exclusivity and boyfriend/girlfriend treatment but "doesn't do labels" because they're "cringe." The convo is over but I definitely feel she's still super suspicious rn. Do I just come clean and say like, since she doesn't want to commit to a relationship, after 2 months of going out on dates, I'm allowed to explore my options until i find someone who will match what I want which is a long term committed relationship?

Dating a new girl, think i cooked with a drunk comment

So I went on two dates with this girl. She has a gay friend who she went out with Saturday night. We were on the phone earlier today, ended well, bit of sexual tension, our second call was maybe 10 minutes before all this.

Anyway, 10 mins after the call, I was a bit drunk and remembered she'd asked if her story looked weird or bad, so I went back to check it. I noticed her friend in the pics and realized he actually looks really good, turns out he's a model. I started typing a message saying I liked his outfit and the poses, just being complimentary and then realised it sounded cringe and deleted it.

She saw me typing, stopped, and said, 'I saw you typing, what is it?' So I was like, might as well say it, sent it. She opened it, left me on read immediately. That was it. Radio silence ever since... I def cooked it right?

A cheap date activity on a Tuesday night?

Planning a date on Tuesday night, sadly for this date I'm down to just under £100 till I get paid on Thursday (2 days after), any decent options for us? Preferably not spoons as we always go there. I don't go out very often so I have no clue what other places are like

How do you progress to like, touch with a girl that won't intiate?

Seeing this girl, she's clearly comfy with like squeezing and admiring my biceps, abs etc..., touching my arm when joking and stuff, thing is I haven't done anything back like put my arm around her or anything. She's comfy with me and I guess waiting for me to make a move, no clue how, like we never sort of lock eyes and hold it in some romantic way or anything. She did say like if I tried she wouldn't stop me but like, what do I do with that, find a quiet place and stare into her eyes or something? Every past girl sort of initiated and I prefer that not to look like a forceful creep. Every moment we have we like look away and laugh.

EDIT: Jesus Christ I sound like Shaggy from Scooby Doo saying "like" every 5 seconds lmao

Do I go through with texting this girl?

So my dad has this co-worker with a daughter about a month or so older than me, in her mid 20's. This co-worker and my dad, somehow agreed to send my number to her so we could start talking and match up.

It's been a week and she hasn't texted so I ruled out she isn't interested but my mom and dad are like, "no she's just shy, she's afraid to text first." I'm not sure what the context of the screenshot was but her mom said to my dad "she sounded very keen and I'll get her to text him for sure," so I'm not sure if my dad was pestering his co-worker or what but her mom wouldn't have to "get her to text" if she was interested.

Any way, so her mom passed on her daughters name and number. Honestly...I don't think she would want me to message her, it's been a week, she clearly isn't interested and it would be even more awkward if my dad has been a pest to his co-worker to get the number. Like if she's not interested then she isn't, leave her alone, you know?

What do you think?

Is sacrificing the 240hz worth it?

There's 2 monitors I'm looking at,

OLED 4K UHD Gaming Monitor - 3840 x 2160, 240Hz 27" inch for 539.98
or
31.5" inch OLED 4K UHD Gaming Monitor - 3840 x 2160, 165Hz for 499.99

I currently have a 1440p 32 inch 240hz ips monitor I think? 240hz is amazing, so not sure about going for the 165hz one, any opinions?
