Rant: struggling to feel secure in my hair

I, 20F have had thin and fine hair my whole life, and have noticeably be dealing with thin hair for the last few years. I struggle to feel confident in my hair , it has never been able to grow past my collarbones and is such a thin scraggle that my curls are see-through and boneless. I am so envious of girls my age with thigh long hair, and it makes me feel so insecure. Just want to rant as I saw this photo of my ponytail and went spiraling. So grateful for this community any words of advice or support is appreciated

Our conversations feel flat, is this a sign?

Me (21f) and my boyfriend (22m) have been doing international long distance on and off for 2 years now from Aus to the Uk. Last year he lived in Aus with me and we got to experience being a normal couple. When his visa ended in March of this year, we went back to international long distance. Luckily enough i had travel plans booked in June/July and saw him for a 4 week period over this time. When we are in person, everything is amazing.

However since coming back at the beginning of August, we’ve felt rocky. The next time I’ll see him will be January where I am set to do a 4 month exchange in the Netherlands.

I feel like when we call, I have nothing really to say apart from the usual catchup of how our days been. It feels really surface level and not what we have experienced in the past. Strangely enough I feel like I’m the one being quite dry, but I’m not sure why this is.

I don’t know if I’m feeling disillusioned with the distance especially because there’s no end date. I really miss him and want to be physically with him again but the distance feels so big it’s sometimes hard to think whether this is worth it.

I could really do with some advice;
is it normal to go through periods of silence/ dead chat?
What are ways we can fix this or is this a sign of something bigger like the end of the relationship?
Any tips for ldr with no end date.

I love him a lot and love how we are in person I just struggle when I feel like I don’t chat as well on the phone/ FaceTime

Is my part something to be worried about?

F21, always noticed my hair on the thinner and finer side, however been to two tricologists who say it’s fine. Here my hair is in a lose braid. To me this is very worrying and would love some advice

What would fix these highlights?

Two days ago I got a 1/4 head of highlights on my virgin hair before my summer vacation. However, I feel like they’re very striped/ skunk like and seem to look really white blonde and not very blended against my natural hair. I wanted more of a light blonde. Would a toner fix this? Pls help!

Help me fix my highlights

For context I got a 1/4 head of highlights, I am going away on summer vacation and have virgin hair. I waned to brighten around my face and back of my head, however I feel like the placement and colour of the highlights look striped and skunk like!! Kind of freaking out. I hate how the blonde sticks out so strongly against my natural hair and how part of it is orange.

What could I do/ ask for to fix this?

I hate my highlights….help

I got a 1/4 head of highlights two days ago, I explained how I wanted subtle brightness before my summer trip. However I feel as if they’re really chunky and look weird in a ponytail. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

Really struggling looking for support (20F) (21M)

Hi! I am currently long distance (20F) in Australia, wi the my boyfriend (21M) who lives in the Uk. He recently moved back home in March after living in Aus for 2 years, as he figures out his purpose/ pathway in life.

As the title suggests, we are both struggling with long distance. Considering there’s no ‘end’ date as to when we will live together, it makes it really hard. Luckily I am seeing him in three weeks when I fly to Europe for a month. It’s what’s going to happen after this which makes me extremely anxious.

He has expressed to me feelings of sadness and anxiety in long distance, where he feels anxious by not being able to be with me in person and do all the things an in person boyfriend can do.

Obviously there’s a massive distance between us geographically and the time zones really don’t help. I love this man with my full heart and our relationship is strong, I am just looking for tips on how I can reassure him and how we can progress without there being a ‘end date’ in plan

Thanks in advance x

Acne keeps getting worse

Painful pimples that repeatedly come up on the left side of my face. I can’t tell but I think it’s cystic any recommandations would be appreciated

For context I’ve been on spironolactone (50mg) for three months now and my skin hasn’t improved, if anything it has continued to get worse. This is the worst it’s been in a year since I had horrible acne (used Acnatac to get rid of it but that gave me horrible eczema lol). I leave for a big trip in a month and am so tied of seeing my skin get worse. Should I give up and try doxycycline ?
