Finally got some good outdoor shots of this QF Daytona Le Mans. The black dial, white subdials and little touches of red really come alive in the sunlight, and QF did a pretty solid job on the overall look and finishing. Definitely one that gets a lot of wrist time.

6. Index alignment: Alignment looks good overall.
7. Dial Printing: Dial printing is crisp and clean.
8. Date Wheel alignment/printing: Date printing is sharp and legible. Alignment seems to be good.
9. Hand Alignment: Hands appear properly aligned and well finished.
10. Bezel: looks good to me.
11. Solid End Links (SELs): SEL fit looks tight with no noticeable gaps between the bracelet and case.
12. Timegrapher numbers: 3s/day, 270 amplitude, 0.0 ms beat error at 28,800 bph.
13. Anything else you notice: At this point I’m leaning toward a GL
I’ve always liked the Santos, but the black ADLC version on the rubber strap completely changed my opinion. It’s sporty, understated, and somehow still unmistakably Cartier. The contrast of the white Roman numerals against the black case just works.
