So I’ve downloaded a few texture mods and install them the same way and some of them work and some don’t.

I take the zip file and extract it into a folder then that folder goes into my data files. I click append in my open mw launcher and I see the textures right there so I click on it and start the game

And sometimes it works perfectly and other times nothing happens at all. I’m still able to play the game it’s just that there’s no texture change? Is it because it’s conflicting with other texture mods? Is there a way I can see where the conflicts/problems are coming from?

so i go this error "openmw fatal error file system::recursive_directory_iterator increment error: the system cannot find the path specified[system:3]"

i tried to install a mod that had 3 downloads in total; 1 mainfile and 2 optional files they were both patches they both had the same esp file name as the standard mod and i just replaced the main file esp with the patches whenever it asked me too and then i got that error and my openmw wont even start. even after i erased the files and deleted the file from the data directory section of the openmw launcher i even went into the openmw cgf file and delete the line of code associated with that mod and nothing worked its been hours and could really use a digital hand right now. ai is just taking me in circles and im getting no results

I want morrowind to look like ps1/n64 level shit I love the jagged pixels and 4:3 ratio and 20fps

I’m made the game look as shity as I can but I want to go even further beyond

Does anyone know any mods to help with this?

I’m new to unity it’s been about 2 weeks of me struggling because Every single tutorial I try has multiple issues even when I follow them exactly word for word.
And I’m seeing it’s always an issue because they use an older version of unity while I’m using the latest. It’s really annoying having to go and ask ai what’s “wrong” with my code even though I’m following directions.

I’m having to do research/ ask around to find an answer every step along the way

There has to be a better way

Is there anything wrong with using the older versions and how old is too old

I got called in for jury duty and wasn’t selected for the final 12. I learned so much on the selection process and learned some stuff I saw online was just wrong but maybe thats because I’m in a different state

I mean obviously no device is perfect so id imagine not every type of game feels “good” on this device. I don’t mean from the performance perspective but rather the gameplay experience

I would guess First person shooters don’t feel good but what else?

What games have you guys played on the Thor that you think would feel better on a different handheld?

When ive gone on the website all the ayn thors are the same price or higher than the official ayn website so what gives?

Is it a scam? Where are you finding the deals?

I mean other characters have a well defined gameplay loop that is reinforced through abilities and weapons. Where as shions abilities feel a bit disconnected without perks. They don’t feed into each other, the bike doesn’t really do anything to encourage dash or vise versa the bike doesn’t leave behind an electric trail that gives a movement speed to shion. The dash doesn’t reload guns without a perk,boop enemies, reduce damage or anything interesting just a small bit of over health that’s over in a half a second. You don’t get a dash refill after a kill. You can’t charge up your x shot while riding the bike so it’s ready to go when you get off. The bike explosion doesn’t stun enemies or do damage over time or anything it’s just some damage. I’m not seeing any meaningful connection between her abilities.

This doesn’t mean the character can’t succeed or isn’t fun. Anything that can do meaningful damage is going to be good especially for people with good aim. So she’s good in that department it’s just a bummer she doesn’t have much synergy. I think she works way better when she has her major perk that gives all the subroles but I think a character should feel complete even without perks.

And here’s a few examples of what I mean by a characters kit having synergy

Venture: they’re shots are easier to land with splash damage so shooting from the air is effective because of the ground splash damage so that’s why you have burrow to launch up in the air dealing damage along the way then you can shoot and dash into an enemy all the while gaining shields from those abilities. Your cool downs also speed up when underground. There’s more I could type but that’s the gist of it

Reaper: has to be up close to be effective so he has shadow step to close the distance and get the drop on an enemy and even in that close engagement he has life steal for sustain and if he needs to back off he can use wraith or if he wants to get more aggressive he can cancel wraith to reload guns and keep the fight going. Everything in his kit helps each other

Anran: every thing she does builds that on fire meter for the enemy and once’s that’s active she can use a secondary fire that is easier to aim at the trade off of shorter range but can also go through dm and it always gives you the choice to shoot primary fire for crit damage. You can charge and set multiple enemies on fire and then use your area of effect ability to damage them and heal yourself as well as dodge and then you can dash again to escape or go to high ground.

All of these kits reinforce the characters play style and synergize abilities. they all feel connected

Yeah yeah it’s the strategy yeah yeah it’s technically possible so go wild but bro what’s more awesome I ask you

1. Over coming obstacles by adapting to enemy play styles and utilizing map knowledge/geometry along with out of the box thinking and strategy.

Or

2. Picking the character who hard counters with very little effort

It’s lame as hell and no nerd will ever convince me otherwise it’s dishonorable and if you constantly counter swap you’re lame as hell

I’m not saying the feature doesn’t activate, it absolutely does. I just mean that everytime someone has a sniper they insta headshot me weather or not I was shooting at them. It’s like the descope had no effect on the match up they still killed me as if I was just standing still

Vs when I get deScoped I feel like my aim is completely Thrown off to the point where I can’t hit any shot

So what gives? Is it just bad settings on my part?

I’m not going to knock anyone for having perfect aim or being able to react to a footstep from the other room but how in the hell is it 2026 and people still dont grasp the basics of the game

There’s no way we’re getting new players at this point. everyone that plays this game is apart of the small population who love/ have played halo before

So why in the hell are so many matches filled with people not shooting vehicles/ not grabbing power weapons/ walking into grenades/ unable to shoot an enemy standing still with a warthog
