I feel like the show should've leaned more into the butterfly effect as to why Peter can't just do whatever he wants

They took away Peter's power in season 3 because he was too OP, yet also introduced the butterfly effect concept that also said there would be consequences. I hate they didnt lean more into this, and showed that Peter had to carefully calculate events in order for things to line up, including letting certain ppl die much to his dismay. If even one event out of place, he has to start over and find a new way otherwise they'd end up with a horrible future if he just does whatever he wants with his powers attempting to solve problems whilst also dealing with grief that he had to let some ppl die only for it to be for nothing as he has to start a new plan from scratch. I can't believe they essentially set this up but took away his powers.

Even better if he's a side character during certain arcs where he's carefully manipulating events behind the scenes whilst others take stage, even evolving his initial powers to absorb abilities to also be able to give other ppl powers because he needs them to.

In other words, he's basically Doctor Strange in Infinity War using the time stone to see the future.

I sometimes feel like Decade made some Rider Cards seem redundant and useless.

Like when he changed into Den 0 sword form but only uses his regular swords, or even Kiva and fight hand to hand. The show should've used more of their arsenals. Like in Kiva, Wataru has the rare power to actually teleport when he's trapped in explosions that was only used three times in the show. Decade should've used this ability to escape dire situations. Den O, they should've had Decade be possessed by the Taros depending on their forms and can even summon them to possess enemies. Only thing Kiva had going was the other forms.

Someone explain to me the behaviour of this idiot uncle?

So, I am currently working as a server serving drinks at a casino. An old man called me to serve him hot tea and I went to get it for him. As I was approaching, another man in his mid 40s called me but got mad when I signalled him to wait as prioritised the old man first, and he even shouted. When I went to the mid 40s man, he started shouting. I stood up for myself and said the old man called me first. He responded in his angry tone how he was just there. But I continued holding my ground in a stern voice (not too loud) saying "He called me first! 1 minute ago!!! With a serious face. The man ended up saying "2 CUPS, WARM WATER!" And looked back at his game looking down. What was going through his mind when he stopped arguing and said that? The amount of time it took for me to serve the old man before going to him was merely 6 seconds. You telling me you can't wait for 6 seconds? After his game ended, he walked around and I walked by him a few times, but each time he kept looking down walking away like he was embarrassed. He really acting like some man child

Someone explain to me what her deal was?

So, I was in love with someone for a long time. First time I met her she was alr in a relationship, albeit a toxic one. She knew I liked her and I was in a lot of pain not being able to be with her so I let her go. One year later, she broke up with her bf and suspected I still liked her and she was right. However, I gave a vague answer to why I liked her and she said she couldn't return the feelings. We still talked quite a lot, played games online tgt etc. I thought I had reached a point where I was mentally healthy to pursue her and be honest why I loved her, only to find out she found a new bf. I couldn't help myself continuing to talk to her, and yes even flirt with her which she somewhat enjoyed.

But of course we couldn't be tgt, and we even had a serious talk bout it and she said she don't feel the same. I dropped the topic and decided I will move forward. However, recently she found out I was at an anime event where she was boothing and I didn't say hi to her and she got pissed off. And she figured it was because of our talk I was avoiding her, which yeah, I definitely was. It's going to be too painful for me. But I tried to be vague and acted dumb and confused because I didnt get what her deal even was. She chose to end our friendship which pissed me off because earlier this year she knew I myself wanted to end the friendship since I was hurting but she responded "it doesn't have to anything serious between us" yet now she's decided to do it when I didn't visit her. She said "what wr have is not platonic anymore both ways" and im like what the fuuuuck

Edit: She also started looking at my ig stories abit more after ignoring them for 2 years

Edit2: Also, in one of her messages, she said "WHY DO U KEEP DENYING HOW U FEEL ABOUT ME!?" But later edited it to criticising me for it instead, trying to pretend i didn't see it.

Did anyone realize late in life how toxic their family is? (Long post)

29m, I grew up with an incredibly toxic and self righteous family. A hyper aggressive dad that would punish me for not understand math as a kid and would regularly hit me for it, crumble my homework, and flick my ear as a kid. Truth be told I had actually moved on from it, but im starting to think back to it seeing how my life became as an adult. My mom did nothing to stop it, and growing up there were times I preferred her teaching since she naturally had a more patient way of doing it. However, I later realised late in life she is extremely narcissistic and manipulative. She always emphasised doing well in life but always seems to bring up how we should do it to make her look good. She talks very badly about other parents like her sister whom want to spent time with her because her own daughters avoids her. She also had a stoke, so she had to relearn a few skills. My mother ALWAAAAYYS made it about her. She didnt go to university herself and keeps emphasising all her sacrifices as if I asked for that. Telling me I need to go to university and get a degree to so she can put up on the wall and show it off to people and that I owed her. Problem is, I suffer from an extreme case of ADHD which I only got diagnosed at 25, it's not easy. I begged my mother to get me diagnosed and her answer was "why like thaaaaaat" and even left me at the side of the road because shs was afraid I would tell her siblings about it and she got a free ride with them home. Like wtf are u talking about? I DIDN'T ask to be born this way. Hell, I didnt ask to be born in general, you made that choice. That's your responsibility as an adult to meet my needs. If you can't handle it, don't be a parent and let me be adopted by someone better than you. Talk so much about sacrifice yet you conveniently ignore all your toxic like a child. If you rlly cared about me, you should've just gave me up for adoption to another family that not only meets the bare minimum, but doesn't have all these emotional baggage to put on a child. Mom also like to remind me how she essentially stopped our in laws from stealing our assets and harassing us after he got dementia, and I'm like so what, that doesn't invalidate your own toxic behaviour.

Then comes my 3 siblings. My eldest sister, sure, she's definitely the most responsible, I dont deny that. She probably had to grow up fast. But however, she's like my mother's little pet bitch. Telling me I have to owe our mother at the expense of my sanity. No I fucking don't, just because you chose to be like that doesn't mean I have to. I didn't go to university because I'm not the scholarly type, fuck you for telling me I have to be the same. Not to mention how my mother refused to get me diagnosed, I suffered GREATLY in private school. I just couldn't learn the same way as most people. The depression hit me so hard I wanted to end my life. And just to be clear, I had suicidal thoughts since I was 9 because of my parent's lack of emotional regulation. My sister even said "you don't have a choice" when I said no to going to university because I need to make my mom's ego happy. Absolutely not, if you choose to be a parent and bring a child into this world, it is your responsibility to go through all that shit. If you expect a reward, don't bother having children or let them be adopted by better ppl. If you depend on others for your happiness then you're immature. I shouldn't have to explain this to a goddamn adult around 3 decades older than me. Also, when I decided not to go to university, I wanted to take a part time job whilst improving my artistic skills but my mom begged me not to as she saw it as making us look like poor people and told me to stay home. Then 1 year later my sister said it was my fault for not working and said "mom wanted me to find you an art job" as a defence as if that contradicts that I wanted to make money on my own and learn independence and have zero shame about taking a pt job.

My second sister, history of being a kleptomaniac. She's actually worst than my mom i admit, made things about her, saw I was the most vulnerable growing up, took advantage of my naivete, and I spent alot of my youth following her like some pet without much of my own opinions. And whenever I had hobbies to deal with my stress, she would constantly bully me for it. Even once when I was in sec 1, I shared the room with my brother, she said she wanted to use my bed to watch the tv show with our cousin and demanded i moved. I said no and she threw a toy car at my head. She has a history of stealing money and items from the whole family. I stopped talking to her in 2020 after she stole 2.5k from my bank account which I forgot she knew the password. And the reason she knew the password was because of the aforementioned how she took advantage of my naivete as a teenager after going through all the abuse, I had completely forgotten about it.

And guess what? The reason she was able to get access to my bank card was because my brother took out my room door knob because I no longer belive in religion (ex muslim now). My mother wasn't happy about it amongst the many other things like not going to university and such, having the mindset of pt job, ADHD diagnosis. Like, I get you love her but you dont have to fucking get involved in a personal issues between two ppl. They never apologised for taking out my doorknob and only scolded my sister. I dont owe them my gratitude. I'm no longer talking to them and have moved out the house but my saddest regret was that it took me too long to have the balls to do it as I realised how short life was. Also, I lost my beloved art job in 2023 and I should've taken whatever job I had to to survive, but I had to go through therapy because of my idiot mom's voice in my head saying stuff like "not related to what u study lah, later i look bad how". For all my mother's claim about how religion made her a better person and the devil is making me rebel, it was always her voice making my life worst whenever I tried to take responsibility and make my life better. Same goes for my eldest sister, says wearing hijab makes her a saint but shouted at me for not opening the door for her delivery because she wasn't wearing the hijab when I was sleeping, suicidal and depressed. It also makes me upset knowing I had many failed relationships that never moved past the talking stage because of my ADHD.

Detail I just noticed in Decade episode 31

When Kenzaki Kazuma tells Decade to leave the world to save others, Tsukasa refuses only for Kazuma to tell him he knows how painful his predicament is. This is a reference to the sacrifice Kazuma had to make to leave his life behind in order to save the world after becoming the JOKER undead, and his annoyance at Tsukasa for being unable to do the same. It also shows Kazuma was willing to let Tsukasa make the same sacrifice whilst preserving his life, and it also makes sense why out of all the riders, he was the one chosen to convince Tsukasa to leave.

So appearantly Zuko is now 29

Recently, the creators confirmed Aang's age to be 25, which means Zuko is 29. They aged them up from the initial reveal. I like this, cause it makes me feel like I grew up with these characters, as a 29 year old myself.

Becoming an ex muslim in Singapore

So a few years ago, I posted on this subreddit asking any ex muslims what life is like, and now I've decided to fully embrace it. I've moved out of my parents house and will reject their sharia inheritance and such and plan on going to muis to officially renounce the religion. Just to be clear, I'm agnostic, and I'm not religious in general whether it'd be islam, christianity, etc. Here's why im leaving it

I understand some people love religion and the idea of God and that's fine. But people by nature are naturally different. A healthy relationship thrives in respecting each other's boundaries. If one person in a friendship or relationship can only be happy if one person does what that person wants, it's abuse. My muslim family literally kept me prisoner for saying I dont believe in the faith and didn't let le leave the house. And this is precisely my issue with religion. Maybe there is a God but I highly doubt a loving God is going to fucking care what religion you are in. We are always taught about how bad ppl go to hell yet humans will purposely ignore the part about how ppl of different religion will go there too even if they are good just so they can avoid facing how manipulative this system can be, it sounds very reminiscent of those barbaric times where humans literally killed each other over religion.

I find that religion purposely does things that trick ppl into believing they are doing something beyond their understanding even if it's not needed, like that whole sharia law thing. No sons in the house, the majority inheritance goes to the closest male relatives which they can then use to financially abuse their in laws. Meanwhilst secular law will ignore things like this cause it's outdated and a waste of time. Why the fuck would I subject anyone to something so pointless just because of some old beliefs? And everytime something similar like this comes up, they will start some loooong ass speech about how it's God's plan or whatever without actually answering the question and ignore it. My parents also has made it clear they are nazi supporters, saying Hitler is a hero for killing jews. Psychotic. I've known some Muslims who said "sharia law doesn't mean you can freely kill gays, u need 4 witnesses" as if killing gay people should be justified with any witnesses. I have a few gay friends, and a bi friend and they have wayyyy more humanity than some of these crazies.

I also don't like being told I should be angry over things I feel are not worth my stress, such as a drawing of Muhammad or burning the quran. I've got better things to worry about like inflation and shit, I've no time for these sort of things. The fact that a lot of muslims will say that the violent riots are justified for drawing some dead guy shows me how backwards this mindset it. I honestly do not care, and am annoyed being told this sort of things are worth going to war over. Thankfully, many muslims are not crazy, but even amongst the peaceful religious community, there are those that will use their voice to say it's okay to be violent and evil in certain instances. I've noticed this in maaaaamy other religions as well. Lastly, I'm not marrying a hijabi girl, or just a muslim girl in general. Sorry, but fuck anyone telling telling me I have to marry a certain type of girl I'm not attracted to, it sounds like a dystopia.

Regarding Kenzaki Kazuma in ZI-O and comparing it to Decade

I find it jarring that both series brings back Kenzaki Kazuma, but the first one (Decade) shows him actively involved in the events of stopping Decade's role as the future villain but not ZI O. Idk, i mean dont get me wrong, his tribute arc in zi o is far better but you'd think given the first time, he'd be invested in stopping another cataclysmic event.

Because of my narcissistic mother, I grew up with a perfectionist mindset even though deep down I knew the stuff she taught me was bullshit. I wasted years of of my life in fear over things that are so minor and realised how much of life I missed at 29. Things got worst when I was 26 after I got laid off, only now at 29 am I overcoming things such as taking part time jobs instead of taking a job in what I studied because I was taught to care too much. I am overcoming everything but its destroying my mental health ironically.

I like seeing adult Zuko at 28, and Aang at 24 in their absolute prime, as well as all the characters. It's like we grew up with these characters. I'm 29 now and I've watched Avatar so many times and it's nice to see Zuko around the same age as me now. It's like I grew up with him.

Ps. I HAVEN'T seen the film
