Help keeping up trousers. Im 5ft 9, and 10st 10(ish). No matter what size trousers I buy they always slide down during the day.

Other than braces, which i haven't tried, is there anything else I can be trying?. Ive tried different rise and different sizes. Just trying one of those buckley belts which does help quite a bit as im not limited by belt holes. Any thoughts appreciated, thanks

What is Za Za restaurant like in Florence. It's been recommended by tour guides a lot. Seen very mixed reviews online though.

We are currently in Florence and this is our final evening. Made a reservation for Za Za, but wondering now if this a bad move for our final meal. Don't want to end on a bad experience. Thanks.

Pourover in Florence and Rome recommendations

I'm going to Florence and Rome in September. Any recommendations, or is it just an espresso at the counter in Italy? Thanks

Male, 51, wanting to lose belly fat and love handles. Where to start?

As I age im getting the 'mid-life' spread. Im not overweight, 5ft 9 and 10st 12(ish), but my belly and love handles are prominent. Only exercise I do is walking mid-week and hiking on a Saturday. Any tips on where to start? I do drink alcohol, but not excessive, mainly on a weekend. Thanks

Restaurants and bars in trastevere

We are staying in Trastevere in September for 4 nights. Ive been reading that a lot of places have sadly turned into tourist traps. Where do you recommend we go, or definitely don't go during our stay? Thanks

Help with trouser sizing please

Ok, I know I should known this by now as I'm 51, but I need help with how to measure properly for trousers. Main issue is trouser length. Does this change depending on the type too, such as jeans, chinos, linens, suit etc? The main recommendation seems to be for mid-rise for my age, so does that also change where you measure your waist? Im wanting to start to move more into chinos now and darker jeans etc. Generally I just pick medium or 32 regular regardless, however if im honest id say the leg is sometimes too long. Thanks.

Can anyone recommend a cleaner/polish for white leather trainers you can get in the UK?

I am seeing very mixed reviews from some of the ones available on amazon. Thanks

Gant shirts and their sizing

Have Gant changed their sizing or where products are manufactured? I bought a medium regular fit short sleeve last year which was fine. I still where it now. Ordered more in the sale this week and tried them on, same size and regular fit and they are massive. Don't fit on the shoulders at all and really baggy.

Help with newly planted rudbeckia and phlox

Gosh, gardening can be frustrating sometimes. Only my second year at trying. Bought these 2 from a local garden centre at the weekend. Rudbeckia and phlox. The Rudbeckia looks like its gone into shock, I have just given it another big drink. The phlox suddenly has leaves going yellow, not sure what to do with that. Planted both with compost in the hole and some blood and bone, hopefully that was right. Anything else I can do, or is it just the wrong time of year to plant stuff, especially things of that size? Any help or tips appreciated. On the plus side my helleniums that I planted last year are looking great 👍.

Why does coffee taste so different in a mug vs in a ceramic lined travel mug (Fellow carter)

I actually much prefer the coffee in my fellow carter travel mug than in the cup/mug strangely. I don't really like stainless steel ones as they taste metallic to me.

Rooftop bar and reserve or not?

We are going to Rome early to Mid-September. Do you have any recommendations for a rooftop bar, not for a main meal, and do you need to reserve? Thanks

Tour operator NOT on the official partner list for the colloseum. Booked via the tour guy

We are having some real issues booking a colloseum tour for September. So far had 2 cancel and 1 now rearranged. We now booked with the tour guy, who seem to have farmed us out to Carpe Diem. I have checked the colloseum latest partner list and Carpe Diem are not on it. Does this mean we will simply be turned away on the day? This is a special birthday and wedding anniversary trip and getting concerned.
