[r/religion] Does Thor answer prayers?

I’m not normally very religious and I know he isn’t exactly a God in the conventional sense, but people used to worship him, right? Did he ever answer their prayers? If so, I could really use that right now.

My husband was providing relief work in Sokovia when everything went down… I haven’t heard from him since and I’m desperate to hear from him. I’ve tried praying to other gods, but there’s only one that I see flying in the sky. So Thor, if you can hear me. Please answer my prayer, and bring my husband back to me.

Vampire Hunter slasher flick

Back in thr 1500s, Vampires were feared mythical creatures and there were no weapons that could hurt them.

However in current day, we know they exist, we have plenty of weapons that can kill them, and people specifically trained to do so.

A band of vampires lying dormant since the dark ages awaken overconfident and ready to feed, but a specialized vampire hunter quickly turns the tide and the undead are now fighting to survive against this truly unstoppable force.

The Vampires are our protagonists and have to desl with being vulnerable for the first time ever. The human is the monster
