S9 E18, “The Application Deterioration.” Sheldon and Leonard go out of their way to help Howard, but Bernadette immediately turns it into another conflict between Howard and Sheldon over Sheldon’s constant teasing.
What bugs me is that they make a whole agreement to stop Sheldon from making fun of Howard while completely ignoring that Howard has spent years mocking Sheldon too — and honestly, some of Howard’s comments have been way harsher. Their dynamic has always been mutual roasting, which is pretty common in male friendships.
It also feels strange because Howard has a long history of treating other people badly himself. He constantly puts Raj down to feel superior, mocks Stuart, spent years acting creepy toward women, ruined his mother’s love life after his father abandoned them, and even embarrasses Leonard in front of Beverly despite knowing how emotionally damaging that relationship is for him. So it’s hard to sympathize when Bernadette suddenly acts like Howard is uniquely mistreated.
The other thing that stands out is that the agreement only seems to apply to Sheldon. There’s no real expectation that Howard stop insulting Sheldon too, even though the behavior goes both ways. And despite Sheldon’s flaws, Bernadette knows he’d never intentionally cheat Howard out of money or genuinely betray him. The whole thing just feels oddly one-sided.
She just ticked me off this episode.
Okay, so I just got the hotel room in Baldur's Gate. And, for a laugh, I had Astarion ask the little Mephite Boney (at the circus) to make him a nude statue of himself. I thought that the game was going to play a joke on you, and the statue would come out as a caricature, but NO! It's a nice statue! And it looks so good next to one side of the door, that I decided I would go back and spend another 5k on a statue of my character Valenora, also nude as she is romancing Astarion.
I figured it would be a statement of our love, and that the statue would look very symmetrical standing on the other side of the doorway. But you can only get one!!!
Their excuse: the statue provides a buff so you can't have two. SO ONLY GIVE ME ONE BUFF!! Urrrghh! LOL! I guess it's not a big deal, just kind of a little disappointment. But still, it would balance out the room and look nice.
If it’s your thing, no offense I guess, but SHUDDER!! The emperor just tried to have hentai time with me! 🤢🤮🤢🤮
No thanks, I will stick to my vampire fiancé, if you don’t mind. Then, the narrator says “you feel some disappointment, the emperor gave up his interest in you so quickly,” NO I DONT! 😨😨😂😂
I can’t BELIEVE how desperate he is to make you eat his tadpole! 😏😏😏
Too bad I have already decided to break into the house of hope and steal the hammer to let prince orpheus free and betray him. Or maybe not, since he’s laying in the manipulation thick.
I know its old, but I love this trailer. Has anyone actually played this?
I hope I am allowed to share this. Its a really good, honest video by BeenThinking01 channel.
A troubled teen in 90’s New York finds a nest of vampires riding the forgotten rails under the city…waiting for an innocent to set them free.
I stumbled on this weird little gem this evening at 9:30 pm and had to watch it! Work night and all! Lol!
Ralph is a nerdy, 400-year-old vampire who still lives with his mom—and he’s been stuck in the same tragic loop for centuries. Ever since his beloved Mona was murdered in the 17th century by her jealous pirate ex when they tried to run away together, she’s been doomed to reincarnate… only to be hunted down again. Every 22 years, on Friday the 13th, Ralph finds her—only to face a peg-legged pirate determined to kill her all over again. This time, though, the stakes feel higher than ever. If Ralph fails, he might lose Mona for good this time. But hey—maybe the 15th time’s the charm!
This movie is ridiculously cute in a very 90s way. The tone is playful, colorful, and just a little chaotic, with that offbeat humor that doesn’t take itself seriously at all. It leans into its silliness, and that’s exactly what makes it work. The whole vibe feels like a mix of quirky rom-com and supernatural comedy, wrapped in neon charm.
One of the standout things is the music, which was clearly made specifically for the movie—and you can tell. It’s not just background filler; the songs are woven into the story and add to the personality. They’ve got that catchy, slightly campy, synth-heavy feel that screams early ‘90s, and honestly, they’re a big part of why the movie sticks with you.
Is it perfect? Not really. It’s definitely cheesy and a little all over the place at times—but if you’re in the mood for something light, nostalgic, and genuinely unique, it’s a fun watch. It feels like a time capsule of a very specific era of filmmaking that doesn’t really exist anymore.
Overall: adorably weird, musically quirky, and peak 90s cute.
Finally!! I tracked down the reference for the Sheldon sacrifices himself at paintball scene. It seems to be a scene from the 1986 movie Platoon starring Willem Defoe, who’s character is left behind on a battlefield in Vietnam while the rest fly away in helicopters. I don’t know where they got the aria from though!
For those of you familiar with Hunter: the parenting on YouTube by Bruva Alfabusa, they had a couple of plushies a while ago that I missed because I just now started watching. But Kevin is my favorite, now look what I got off of eBay for an admittedly inflated price! Who’s the oil barrel now?! Lol! 😂 Still, he’s in great shape and I love him!! it’s the great and mighty Kevin!!
Look what I found on ebay for 990 dollars!!
