I went ahead and pulled the trigger on my first diorama. I would love to hear what you think and any tips for getting better! Thanks!

If you buy one VW and VCA will donate another one to your local shelter. Pretty neat!
I have a sibling who lives in Hong Kong (I'm in US). She knows I am a diecast collector and has offered to be on the lookout for models I'm trying to get and bring a few back when she visits. While I started with HW, MBX, GL and the like, I have perhaps 10 Tomica models, and have even bought Mini GT, Tarmac Works, Bburango, Norev, and AutoArt over the years to get an idea of the models from outside my home market. Obviously they make some spectacular diecasts even if the prices + shipping make amassing a real collection prohibitively expensive.
My question is somewhat about the market in Hong Kong. Are diecasts like Tomica sold like Hot Wheels are here (grocery stores, toy stores, department stores)? Or would it be best to see if she'd be willing to visit the diecast specific places? I don't want to make this seem like a chore - much less an overly expensive one - so what would you reasonably suggest? Are there places she'll come across like in malls? Or are the best places out of the way?
Finally, as for the cars themselves, what's typical for cost? Other than ebay prices I don't have any idea what say, regular Tomicas cost? Much less fancier models like Mini GT? Should I expect those to start around $20 like they do on ebay?
I'm really thrilled she's willing to do this and very grateful. Any advice you guys have would be very much appreciated! Thanks!
