I can’t wait for season 2 oh my god

I give the show a 7/10. It’s a fun watch! And the finale? Oh my god, 10/10, it was fucking amazing. I do have some notes on the show though, here are my overall thoughts

- I loved seeing the similarities and parallels between this show and The Owl House

- I wish there was just a bit more development with Andrew and Akko’s friendship/relationship. I feel like we could’ve gotten more scenes of them together

- Ship wise, not sure how many of you guys ship Andrew and Akko, but I personally don’t. I do kinda ship Akko and Diana though. Also Chariot and Croix. Like, a lot. Really love that pair lmao

- I wish they made it less obvious that Ursula was secretly Chariot in like the first episode we see her in. I picked it up almost immediately

- My favorite episode in the series is the episode where Akko goes to climb that tree to find one of the words, the scene between Akko and Ursula near the end of the episode (where Ursula saves Akko) was SO GOD DAMM PRECIOUS😭❤️

- Love Akko’s character, but it honestly got to be pretty annoying just how often she’d be like “I wanna be just like Chariot!” She’d pretty much say that every episode and it was just a little grating with how much she’d talk about her. And only by the end of the show did she realize she didn’t need to try and be like chariot, she should just be herself

- Love that Akko was able to fly at the end, good for her, but I also kinda wish she wasn’t able to in a way? Like as a sort of consequence for Chariot unintentionally stealing people’s magic. If people are able to get their magic back from just working really hard at it, it kinda makes that (Chariot stealing their magic) feel less impactful

- I wish there was an episode dedicated to Akko’s family. How did her parents feel about her going to watch school? Were they supportive of it? Would’ve been interesting to see

I think that’s about it. I’m glad I checked this show out :D

Okay so this is more lighthearted than anything, just wanted to share a quick story with you guys. So, my cat passed away like a year ago, and since then, I’ve had a few interesting things happen. For one thing she’s shown up in my dreams a few times, but that’s not the thing that sticks out to me. So, maybe 4 or 5 times now when I’ve gone to use the bathroom, just as I start to leave, this little shadow of a cat appears for a split second and runs between my legs. Gives me a heart attack each time I swear. It goes away in less than a second too. And like I said this isn’t a common thing, I rarely see this creature. I just can’t help but wonder what exactly the explanation is, I never saw anything like this until after my cat passed. Though, the shadow doesn’t really look like my cat either. It looks a little smaller. Same thing actually happened again today and it straight up just looked like a kitten lmao. So I dunno, maybe it’s my imagination (it definitely is, let’s be honest here) maybe it’s my cat saying hi every once in a while, maybe it’s a stray ghost that made its way into our home somehow, I don’t know, what do y’all make of this?😂
