Looking back, it really seems like he was only pursuing Brook Lynn because Willow was off the market at the time which never stopped her before and he knows that better than anyone. 🥴

On yet another rewatch and I always have the same thought, what a beginning to a flawless series. Seven seasons later and still nothing tops the storytelling in the pilot. The leadup to that final scene where we find out Don has a family is absolute perfection.

Don felt so untouchable in the first three seasons that he believed Betty would never find out his secret and would just stay in her place. The Suzanne in the car situation proves he didn't care about consequences. But at that point, would it have even mattered? Betty was already completely tired.
