Loved it on debut. Great rewards. Only one trash RNG level (level 8).

This time? Only 10 pickup tickets that are worthwhile to take from the store, and both level 8 and level 9 are RNG garbage (level 9 amps it up even worse with three honju, all three of which must be killed before you win the level).

A game mode that NEEDS you to have specific team comps AND specific buffs AND still makes you need to cross your fingers your main attacker isn't taken out before, IDK, round 2, is garbage.

They took their best mode and tossed it into the nearest trashcan they could find.

I won't be spending anything on this game anymore.

This was very fun. Just really wish they'd gone into the alt timeline with Hoshina being Narumi's vice cap for a bit longer. Episodes should have been longer in general...

Well r/anime doesn't have megathreads, so might as well discuss it here.

It was funny, but it was like 4 minutes.

And it read more like a YouTube influencer getting dragged by his bros who hijacked his house and his account and decided to make a video that goes 'here's our favorite loser' for 4 minutes. Except it didn't end with us walking into him peeing or something.

That, and Koki auditioning for something bigger with this probably, with all the scenery chewing he's shown to be doing in the future episodes.

I genuinely wish there was more to discuss. Oh well.

The rates still suck and some QoL can still be better, and we really should have had a free picker for all the 5 stars that came before the anniversary - but Disaster Swarm has me the most hooked this game has ever had me, and we have two excellent characters in CLOZER Reno and Kikoru4. The new storyline seems very interesting too. And there's a daily event coming up soon.

I think this was a marked success, even if not the bestest anniversary everest - and we still have three weeks to go.

After a recent excursion into Lizard B with suit 1 Narumi - I'm curious if someone has tried Lizard B on OG K8 (with potential unlocked).

Narumi1 isn't used by most anymore, and I've yet to test this set on normal content (swarm disaster after all has specific buffs and substats) - but I think this unipart set synergizes well with his ability to break plates at random. A good boss fight/killer unit.

Have to wonder with Soichiro's ult too - but with him at least we can argue he needs fungal A/lizard A due to him having much more utility compared to Narumi's ST utility.

I know that she's limited and she needs a limited kit and the game can look like a shill game because of it - but if you CAN get her weapon + get her to A1 - do it.

She seems like a meta defining unit right now, like how Shuriken Hoshina - esp at A1 - was during Half Anni. And seeing how Shuriken Hoshina's still around, still doing truck loads of damage, I feel at ease in stating that the same will hold true for Kikoru4 6-12 months down the line (assuming game survives, which right now seems likely).

I'm finding it far too hard to move past 2.4M right now. Partly that's because I'm using only one gold support, but Kaiju A here is too strong and has too many plates. How are you getting any damage done?

I haven't even been able to replicate my max damage again 😅Its debuffs and attacks getting the best of me. I was lucky to be able to pull of Kikoru's enhanced ult when it was core exposed, iirc, but then Narumi fainted immediately afterwards, so that damage is still not even maximum possible for me... Keep missing some crits too.

So for one, yes, AD teams are clearly getting meta'd.

Second, obviously meant for CLOZER Iharu - but here's the rub, I don't have CLOZER Rin even now to be able to test it with her.

So discussion post meant for who all it's good for.

Here are our AD damage dealers so far.

Reno6 - I already don't bother with Spider A on him and go for Fungal A, so clearly he can be a versatile sub DPS if needed

ETA: Hoshina10: Apparently Hoshina10 also does AD and I never noticed or simply forgot. Need to reevaluate where he falls in the current meta. As it stands, he looks like another Spider B candidate.

Chester - Field Ops is applied to all other allies, not him, so Lizard A is fine for him.

Santa Narumi - my feeling is Fungal A wins out at A1 - and I have him at A2 right now - but the rest is open for discussion

Sword Kikoru - here we need to see which of Caudata A and Spider B is better for her

Axe Hoshina (out of question - needs spider A or similar to make sure his effect hit rate is good enough)

CLOZER Rin

CLOZER Narumi (out of question - Plant A will win)

CLOZER Iharu

Main point of contention, to be fair, is CLOZER Rin. Caudata B was made for her, but we know AD is OP, so Spider B needs to be tested. And I can't yet.

I had to give this a lot of thought, and discussed with u/ArrenH.

It's a Pull, because she goes on multiple teams (not just extra attack teams), and doesn't outright need her weapon (ArrenH suggested to me 0112 works well, and that's what I'm using her with right now, as I don't have her weapon).

She just won't do her maximum possible damage if she's not 1. around other extra attackers 2. doesn't have her sig.

With the right set up - apparently even without stage buffs on FB, she outperforms Shuriken Hoshina. Which is mindboggling, because Hoshina still does massive top of the field damage. I just cannot verify this, and as I pointed out in my tier list, this depends heavily on how much you've invested in her - but it's coming from someone reliable, and I'm also seeing many other whales one-turning high difficulty FB stages on twitter with extra attack teams right now with her in tow.

Even as part of extra attack team, you don't need all three others to be extra attack. It can instead be Kikoru4, Commander Sagan, CLOZER Haruichi/Reno, and then either Suited or CLOZER Akari, depending on how you want to build it. (Of course, that's all 4 limited characters)

Uniparts are straightforward.

Caudata A: Flat Atk, Crit DMG, Wind>Slash DMG

If you have her sig, Fungal A: Flat Atk, Crit DMG, Wind>Slash DMG (works even better if you have Commander Sagan on team)
