I have these long breaks (9months at this point) from Starfield which makes those 1,600+ hours in game a little more reasonable, but was curious to see how things are going.
Seems like things are pretty much where they usually are...? I dropped off right before the big update/Terran Armada drop, but I don't get the impression that this was that bad a mod-breaker.
Anything super new and cool hit the CC since then?
I had no idea he'd made such nut-job comments 4 years ago, but it seems he's not strayed too far from the looney bin...
Recently bought custom Mon and Cassian minifigs so I figured I might as well build them a ride. This is a custom build, with instructions by just_bricking. It was my first time building a Lego set—an equally fun and frustrating experience!
I love that the door can be opened, but unfortunately there’s no way to get Cassian in and out of the driver’s seat without dismantling the roof so I’ve had to stuff ‘em both in the backseat.
Also how do I get the well rested perk without having one of my settlements destroyed?

Normally I would say that I trend towards a more purist stance, where mods are not obvious or very subtle, but holy man is this a gorgeous car...
I'm frustrated with this whole 'character creation' controversy and trying to figure out what it is that i'm missing.
If the link above doesn't link to the time jump, the question they respond to is exactly 1:00 into the video. Chad Robertson says, in response to the question, "What makes the Traveler, the Player Character, unique in the story?" spends about 12-ish seconds introducing the idea and noting specifically, "You'll have some options," as far as a character creator goes. Then the other approximately 43 seconds is spent talking about how it's the choices you make in the story [supported with skill tree and gameplay choices] that will define what shapes the character and who they become.
This makes sense... The elements in that last 43 seconds are the crux of what i've seen from Achetype on character creation and that goes all the way back to the start of the series. Those choices and that narrative-driven approach have always been a foundational component of all these Founders Q&A's and communications that i'm aware of.
I've tried to look through other media and interviews and seen nothing more explicit about character creation than this. Did I miss the deep dive where they explained CC was going to work? I will admit this video above is the last with Ohlen before his departure and when [for me at least] 'the writing was on the wall,' and I dialed my interest way down as a result, but I just spent my lunch hour diving through Google/Youtube to no avail.

As I'm sure many are aware, the City of Duncan has recently announced they are moving forward with a study to review a "boundary realignment" of the boundary with North Cowichan [NC]. Used the North Cowichan online GIS map to highlight the area above using the 'Area Measurement Tool.' That resource is located here.
Caveats:
This is just my broad brush interpretation of what contiguous urbanized areas might be counted, and more than a bit dramatic in my estimation, but it's a worrisome proposal regardless, particularly given the loss of the Crofton Pulp Mill and the amount of taxable lands adjacent to Duncan itself that may potentially be lost if a realignment does take place. Also, super weird, because there's no way I can figure this could be made into a "...mutual benefit for both municipalities..."
Just really appreciate how immersive and beautiful a game like this can be...

Please help us. One of our puppies ran away after being spooked by some bikers on a hiking trail in Nanaimo at 11am PST while being walked by our dog sitter. If you are close to the area and are able to help search we would really appricate it.
My family and I are currently in the UK 2 days into our 19 day vacation and are feeling very helpless.
This is a hail mary, but any help would be greatly appricatied. Hes a very small 1.5yo saussage dog thats easy pray for wild animals.
