Ron runs to the door that leads to the top hatch and directly into White's room. He bangs loudly, shouting.

"Hey!"

"I said open the damn door, idiot."

"I'm counting to 3."

Ron kicks the door open, discovering that White is nowhere to be found.

Ron sits at White's terminal, seeing three warning emails from COAT threatening punishment if White does not reply to them. They accuse White of:

Act 1.5a: Deliberate avoiding contact with the management.

Act 2.4a: Deliberate withholding of information required by the management.

Act 1.1b: Negligent attitude towards responsibilities at high risk work.

opening the chat logs, Ron and White have a conversation spanning from 2:52 to 11:15. At 3:21, White says he will handle things himself, but at 2:52 he lashes out at Ron for not fulfilling a request he had promised to do, something White claims he had repeated a hundred times. According to White, the children are trying to kill each other, and both White and Ron could face a tribunal.

Getting up, Ron looks around and finds White's notepad on the kitchen cabinet.

"White's diary?"

"Any wisdom inside?"

Upon opening it, he finds a page with a hand-drawn map of the area made by White, along with a hysterical journal entry claiming that the cave is paradise and that, without electricity, he won't be able to reach him there.

"Oh crap."

Ron finally climbs up the stairs out of the hideout. First, he makes a list of things to check.

HUNGER.

PAINFUL. HUNGER.

that, is The Only thing he has known, ever since that day.

And suddenly..He was here.
