I’m 35 and have always had double vision, but I always thought it was normal. I just found out that everyone else doesn’t see like this lol
So I went last week to an eye doctor and was given a prescription with a 2.0 prism.
I just got the glasses and was super disappointed when I put them on. Everything was still double, significantly.
I checked doing some tests, and with the glasses it’s about 20% better. I made an appt with the doctor for tomorrow to go over it.
Is it usual for the lenses to be THIS far off? You’d think it would be a little closer. I’m attaching a pic of how far off something is (close up) with and without the glasses on.
I'm feeling super frustrated. I went to my appt last week and they said my double vision was pretty significant (I've had it my whole life, but thought everyone saw like this lol).
So I just picked up the frames+lenses and the double vision is still there a ton. It's maybe 15-20% better. I made an appt with the doctor for tomorrow morning.
I didn't think this would be a trial and error sort of thing.
Anyone else have to go through more than one try to see only one image with relaxed eyes?
I specify the screen because I get bad motion sickness. My current screen on my '14 camry is low and I can't look at it while driving.
For example the CRV has a really high one. That's nice.
I was looking at the CRV/Rav 4/Tucson. I saw that the Rav 4 and CRV didn't get top safety picks so I'm a little wary.
The Rav 4 doesn't seem to be in stock anywhere. The Tucson seems great but I'm worried about reliability/resale.
Thanks in advance.
I’ve always has horizontal double vision. I saw an eye doctor as a kid who gave me eye exercises to help me bring the two pictures into one
But I thought that everyone saw 2 images, and some people just had a hard time making them one. I’m just now finding out that’s not true.
So I get very bad motion sickness, and my wife think it’s related to my double vision. I have noticed that when Im getting motion sickness I tend to close an eye. Maybe prism glasses will help? I guess I’ll find out.
Sup all. I had FAI surgery and labrum repair done 5 years ago.
The pain has been relatively okay since then up until last year. The pain came back, and it started getting worse and worse.
I saw another ortho who did an MRI and xray. He found that there was still a bump on the femur. Either they didn’t shave it down all the way, or it grew back.
Obviously I don’t want to have surgery again, especially if it could just come back, but the daily pain is building and I’m getting really frustrated.
I had my first surgery at 30 and I’ve already resigned myself to the fact that I’ll never run again. I’m trying to get my fix in with swimming, but even that hurts now.
This is more of a rant, but I’m wondering what you would do? Would you get the surgery? I’ve done a lot of PT with no help recently. I had an injection in the hip joint and that did give me relief for a couple months.
The lady pulled over right away and was very apologetic. She admitted fault obviously. Sorry, no real drama here.
I know the service road ends, but why does Sunrise need to lose a lane? Why can’t the service road just merge in on an on ramp?
After sending my initial app + documents I received an email stating that my application was received.
A couple months ago I got the email saying they needed additional documents. I sent them about 4 weeks ago but haven't received any notice. I also emailed support 2 weeks ago but haven't gotten a response back.
