Did a discord server help?

Hey everyone, I just released a demo for my first game What The Cluck and just want to know others opinions on whether setting up a discord server for your studio or game helped in anyway?

I’m thinking it might be nice to show regular updates to those who would like to follow along with the game or any other projects I’m working on and get more community feedback on them.

Did it help you in anyway? Motivation, accountability, interest, game direction?

Interested to see what speed run techniques come from the exploding eggs

The game is harder than it looks I promise, I spent longer than I care to admit managing to record a clip of me actually hitting all the platforms in a smooth enough motion. Got most of the inspiration from pogostuck as I love and hate that game.

What The Cluck

Hey guys just wanted to show off some little gameplay from my project game I have been working on. The only way to move is by using your ass to shoot exploding eggs. A magpie has stolen your golden egg and it’s time to go get it back. Any feedback is massively appreciated and if it seems interesting I also have a steam page setup for it.

Some little screenshots

Just thought I would share some screenshots from a foddian game I am working on. Just looking for any feedback, will post some gameplay soon. The idea is that a magpie has stolen your golden egg and you use your ass exploding egg powers to reach the top.
