Need advice about transition

So me and a coworker just lost our maintenance supervisor who got fired a few hours ago during 5 vacant units, 100+ work orders, and during renovations, we were told to wait a few weeks for an update and I'm not sure what's going happen and is this going to be more stressful during the time?
