I wannna move to NYC

Hi everyone, 20M from a third world country.

Watching New York in movies has been a really pleasant experience for me but it has kinda grown on me, now I am getting that urge to move to NYC and experience it in IRL.

I am also into startup culture and have failed a couple of them, currently working on a new one and planning to make it big (don't know if it's gonna work or not) which can open doors that get me into NYC.

Any advice/tips on how I can move there in a next few years would be really helpful.

Get comission

Hi guys,

I am looking for people who can help me clear out the stock of my thrift page, you bring me a buyer and I'll give you 10% commission on every buyer you bring.

Also you can sell an article for more than what I have listed and take the difference home.

How to get wealthy

I am a 20 year old guy and my goal is to become a wealthy person and live a life where money is not a problem anymore.

I live in a 3rd world country and plan to move to the US (not firm in completely settling there but experiencing what life looks like there).

I also have a lot of experience in running businesses, ran several online and offline businesses but failed somehow currently building a start-up with a small team that has a potential for a million dollar exit but currently in the initial phase.

Should I reapply sunscreen

I usually leave my house for college at 11 AM in the morning and come in direct contact with the sun for about 30-40 minutes and 60 minutes total time spent in the bus for commuting.

I apply sunscreen just before leaving my house, is there a need to reapply sunscreen one more time?

Or is one time application enough

Also forget to mention I sweat moderately on the bus , usually on the way to college

What are you using for budget signal-based outreach + technographics? (Clay is out of budget)

Hey everyone,

I’m refining my outbound stack and trying to hit a very specific sweet spot without breaking the bank on Clay's credit model.

Here is what I need to combine in one tool (or a tight 2-tool setup):

Technographics: Ability to filter/scrape companies by tech stack (e.g., identifying companies using Zoho, HubSpot, etc.).

Signal Triggers: Real-time buying signals like hiring surges, job role changes, or funding rounds.

Data Accuracy: High-accuracy email verification (preferably direct dials too) so bounce rates don't burn my domains.

Clay is ideal on paper, but the per-credit pricing across multiple data providers gets expensive fast for my current scale.

What low-cost GTM stack or tools are you currently using to hit these three exact criteria? Would love to know what’s working for you right now.

Why is India post charging too much even for small parcels?

Previously my parcels used to cost under 70 and we're usually 1kg in weight but now even a 500gm parcel is costing ₹100.

Hi guys, I run a small thrift store and ship parcels using India post previously I used to pay under 70 rupees all my parcels even the ones with higher weight but I don't know why they are charging a minimum of 150 rupees even for lighter parcels.

Trying something new in terms of outbound strategy, and would appreciate an unbiased opinion.

Work in analytics/data (GA4, attribution) for e-commerce companies.

My process looks like this:

  1. Connect by sending a short message related to their profile/activities.

  2. No pitch here. Simply mention that I write about a particular issue they must face.

  3. Give them some time to read my content.

  4. Come back with a question followed by some value (lead magnet).

The idea is to make things genuine but avoid coming off as overly aggressive.

I'm not sure if this is effective, however.

Questions:

Seems to be a slower approach compared to being straightforward.

Uncertain whether people actually check out your content once they connect.

Even if the timing is good, it could end up ignored either way.

Just wondering:

Have any of you tried the no pitch/nurture/ask method?

Are your prospects even able to remember your content?

Would it be better just to be direct instead?

How do you handle prospects who don't post anything?
