Can someone tell me if this is a. Good idea to get into graduate entry medicine

This is what I was told by a pharmacist
I have a clearing offer for MPHARM and unsure if it’s the right choice
My heart is really in medicine too.

Complete 3 years of your MPharm degree and apply for GEM when you are starting your third year. If you succeed you can graduate from most pharmacy schools with a BSC in pharmaceutical sciences and go straight into GEM. I know of a few people who did this.

If you don’t succeed you can complete your 4th year and come out with a MPharm then reapply. If you are not 100% set on medicine - I would recommend finishing your pre-registration year after your degree and qualifying as a pharmacist.

Can anyone let me know if this is an accepted way of going to GEM?

Need help if this is a good plan that’s accepted to apply to GEM

I was adviced as followed since I’ve accepted an offer for MPHARM this September through clearing at KENT

But If it’s not a quick route into GEM, I’ll complete a biomedical degree through clearing again:
(MPHARM is 4 years)
Can someone advise if this is an accepted way of applying to graduate entry medicine? Or are they going to ask me that I must study all four years?
I have asked the pharmacy school if a BSC was possible and it is. But I’m only doing the 3 year GEM application if I’m successful

- Complete 3 years of MPharm degree and apply for GEM when starting third year. If I succeed i can graduate from pharmacy school with a BSC in pharmaceutical studies in July/June and go straight into GEM in September .

If I don’t succeed, I can complete 4th year and come out with a MPharm then reapply. Or even settle down with MPHARMACY

Why do people say GEM is much harder?

Title
Im going to do GEM but what makes it harder than undergraduate apart from less spaces available for medical school?

Im yet to start MPharm this sept and want to try my chances in GEM as its always been in my heart but couldn’t get into it this year.

And if anyone has any advice about applying in third year of MPharm to GEM?

How to go from 2050 band 2 to 2200+?

Title
I sat UCAT last year and got 2050 b2
VR 660
DM 720
QR 670

How can I improve my score since it’s been a year? And I’m going to apply for GEM
I’m planning to prepare for ucat throughout my first and second year.
I’m planning to use medify and have started doing the free ucat resources on the official websites.
Is it possible for me to achieve this and what steps do I need to have? Since I felt the exam was easier than some of my mock ucat exams, so how can I make sure that I perform well since my attempt last year could’ve been a fluke.

Going to start MPharm this September and have a question about switching courses after third year

Title
I was wondering if I could apply for a post graduate degree if I decide to change my mind in year 3 through UCAS, I know id want to finish with a 2.1 in year 3 so I can get a BSC in pharmaceutical studies.

Does anyone have advice about this? I understand u can’t come a pharmacist without being through all four years and pre reg year. And if you know anyone who has done this that went on to do other degrees?

Thinking of medicine

Title
I’m going to do my MPharm this September first year and curious about GEM if I’m still interested in it down the line

I also was told by pharmacists that people can leave in the third year at any MPharm so they end up with a BSc in pharmaceutical studies instead of doing full four years
Then progressing to GEM the same year they graduate

I was wondering what you would do if you’re unsuccessful when applying to GEM as a third year MPharm student?
Would you still be able to progress to fourth year MPharm?

How and when to revise for UCAT for post graduate medicine

Title
I’ve decided to do a MPharm course this September and deciding to think of GEM as a possibility
I also know there’s a BSc opportunity for three years of the pharmacy course which I could complete and end up with a pharmaceutical sciences degree instead of MPharm , at this time I want to apply and prepare my ucat in my 2nd year so that by the time I apply for GEM I can start it in the same year as I graduate from Year 3 BSc

Is this a good idea if I get in? And how do you guys revise for UCAT again since it’s been a year since I studied it last. I had studied it in 2025 and got 2050 b2 and wondering how I could boost my score to become more competitive. I’m currently unable to resit my a levels and need to go to university this year.

Need some advice what to do after results day - help!!

Title
I resat my a levels and got A*BC psych biology chem respectively
I’m not sure if post graduate medicine is the best thing for me after 3 year biomed degree
I’ve got a degree for clearing in pharm at Kent
Is it worth sitting for post grad med at Southampton for bm4 course and doing their biomed degree?
I’m so upset and got 2050 b2 ucat idk how I can revise so high for the ucat and interviews to ensure I can get in.

I did try so hard but now idk if medicine is even in my options now and that I should just stick with pharm. I’m not going to do grad med after my pharm degree if I do pharm
Can someone help me out here and talk about how hard is it to get a 2:1 in biomedical science in Southampton if anyone has been accepted for that?

Feeling anxious about a levels this year as a resit student

Title
I’ve applied for med again this year and got offers
My firm needs an A in biology and I did my bio exam today, I felt so sad during it almost felt like crying as soon as I felt a slight of doubt in attempting a question because I came so far for doing ucat , dealing with pressure and interviews I genuinely didn’t want to do bad .
I usually do good in bio, given that I was very close to an A last year but in paper 1 completely knocked me hard , I felt like I was scrambling around for some questions and I keep overthinking it and making me feel bad revising for upcoming exams .
I just been thinking negatively ever since and can’t brush it off easily since I don’t want all my hard work to waste. Does anyone have any advice and if they’re going through the same because I feel that last year exams were so much easier . :(
I just feel so annoyed and irritated despite doing a lot of work .

opinions on using tarot for manifesting an sp

title

i am new to tarot, but not experienced. i've asked some people for readings, but they all seem to be saying that i should buy spells after giving me a bad reading. now i dont know if it their readings were correct or not, because i've had other readings which were very positive. but i am very confused. does anyone have any opinon on tarots for being as a tool to check ur energy for manifesting sp? (context: manifesting my bf from no contact). a lot of people have told me to stop relying on the sp for happiness, but how can i ultimately stop the feelings of sadness or dwelling on the old story about sp?
