[HIRING] Looking for account managers

Looking for commission-based account managers / sales reps for an AI receptionist service focused on local service businesses (plumbers, HVAC, locksmiths, contractors, etc).

The product:

  • AI answers after-hours calls
  • captures lead info
  • sends instant SMS summaries
  • can flag urgent/emergency calls

Current pricing:

  • customers typically pay around $50–$90/month depending on setup and support level

Payment:

  • 1st hour is $15, over that would be commission.
  • recurring monthly commission for every active customer you bring in
  • base platform cost is ~$40/customer/month
  • revenue above that is split 80/20 in favor of the seller/account manager
  • example: if you sell an account at $90/month, recurring commission would be about $40/month for as long as the customer stays active

This is best for someone comfortable with:

  • cold outreach
  • local business networking
  • relationship/account management

Not looking for free work. This is performance/commission based only.

Happy to answer questions or show the product/demo flow.

Trying to understand how this works in real life vs what all the “rules” say.

If you’re texting or emailing leads:

  1. What info do you actually have before you reach out? (phone, name, consent checkbox, source, timestamp, etc.)
  2. Where are most of your leads coming from ? Zillow, FB ads, referrals, your own site, etc.)
  3. how strict are you on compliance?
  4. Are you really tracking full consent every time, or does it depend on the source?
  5. Ever had issues with carriers, spam flags, or anything like that?
  6. If a tool forced stricter compliance (verified consent, timestamps, source tracking), would that be helpful or just slow you down? would you use that?
