I am assuming it's just a matter of time. no pun intended.

I was planning a long marathon ride tomorrow (Saturday the 22nd) between 3:00 PM and 11:00 PM to make the most of the second-to-last weekend of August.

The forecast is calling for rain right across that window. I checked GO Transit routes to see if I could train out to a drier pocket, but it looks like most of Southern Ontario is getting hit.

For those of you who regularly ride in wet conditions: with the right kit (e.g., Gore-Tex top, proper layers, shorts, etc.), can this be manageable and enjoyable, or is it just miserable grit and chafing after hour two?

Any tips? I really don't want to write off the day if I can help it.

I plan on going on the trails - no street cycling if possible.

My main plan was to go MTG down to Rattray Marsh or further (and back).

We own a Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV and a 2027 Chevy Bolt, and we charge daily. Last November we bought a Grizzl-E Mini Connect (40A, J1772) on Amazon from the Grizzl-e store.

I've gotten mixed answers on Club eligibility from Grizzl-E on this model - can I still get the carbon credits? any catches?

When moving around town, it becomes a chore to make sure 'EV only' mode is enabled
every time the car is turned on. especially when doing a 50km or less trip.
I am assuming this is not already built in or a standard option within the car settings panel - (unless I am wrong) . Possibly since not many people have an easily accessible charger.

For those that have an apartment or house access to a plug, there needs to be a default option to make sure EV/battery only is defaulted, as needed.

Anyone know a good way to get decent sound out of a 2027 Bolt RS without swapping the physical speakers?
Apparently Bluetooth is not great if I want to get a 3 speaker/3 channel setup due to bluetooth loss/compression degradation issues. or am I wrong?

would love to get options to not rip any hardware apart . especially since everything is still under warranty.

coming from a car with a Harman Kardon system, there is much to be desired .

I am a huge fan of long form cycling 360 videos.

even night time, IF you know what settings to choose, the max2 does an amazing job.

small, steady.

the x5 is a hog (very good night time sensor for smaller videos) .
but the software is trash.
