Which of the animated TMNT series had the best banter/dynamics between the four brothers?

Throughout the various series’ within this franchise, we’ve seen many ways the dyanmics between the brothers change like how Raph and Mikey border between light teasing/“tough love” to straight up bullying, Donnie being the one who just goes with everything, and Leo going from stern leader to being able to act like an teenager with the other guys from time to time. Some say, they can act a bit too chummy, which can feel unnatural, while the bickering among them while still being able to love each other and get along, feels relatable to many viewers

That got me thinking on which series had the best dynamics/banter between the four turtles. Please let me know your answer and explain why

When Ash and Serena are a couple (dating or engaged or married), what other shipping or couple would they have a double date with?

An episode dedicated to Ash and Serena having a double date can be a lot of fun (eg. Brock with Lucy, Misty with Tracy, or Clemont with Korrina)

Could a romantic relationship between Peter Parker and Sai (demon days) work if it were to explored in an elseworld?

Ever since Marvel Rivals released,
Spider-Man and Sai are among the most popular pairings. Even though there isn’t much character dialogue between these two, there are so many people that support this ship. I was a bit hesitant at first on if this pairing works with how they come from different worlds, but after slowly getting into reading Demon Days, I think it’s somewhat possible for a relationship to work with these two good people who enjoy exploring and value responsibility as well as to protect others, but it should be a relationship exclusive to an else’s world not the Mainline 616 world.

Sai’s stoic nature clashing with Peter’s jokey demeanour can lead to some fun banter.

Peter being in a romantic relationship with a telepath does have some potential to explore, especially with storylines involve Peter dealing with mind control or body switching (eg. The Symbiote, illusions from Mysterio or the superior Spider-Man). Some supernatural elements can be brought to Peter’s world, which could be a lot of fun. Peter on the other hand, can finally have a partner who understands the responsibility of having powers and is very understanding of his emotions (she can comfort him in his depressive states and bitterness when he becomes stressed) which can have some really heartwarming moments between them.

Sai would enjoy having relationship with someone as virtuous as Spider-Man and a carefree spirit who enjoys exploration works really well with how Sai is someone who goes on adventures many times, well still finding time to save lives much like Peter. Sai can lighten up and becomes infatuated with this charming goofball.

Overall, while I don’t think that the pairing could work in the Mainline 616 comics continuity in a timeline sense, I think this relationship could work really well if it were to be explored in an elseworld, so that it can still be enjoyed by people without disrupting the continuities of either stories, much like how New Ultimate Spider-Man has Peter and MJ together or many of the pairings of the MCU (eg. Bob X Yelena or Hope Van Dyne X Scott Lang).

Please tell me your thoughts on whether or not this relationship could work if given the opportunity to explore in an elseworld

Who would win in a fight between Daredevil (MCU) and Batman (Bale)?

If these two well written live action characters were to clash who would win?

Side note: Use standard gear for Batman with a funny voice (no vehicles) and no hallway boost for the Avacado At Law.

why do people undermine Leo’s showdown against Super Shredder?

In the TMNT 2012’s season four finale: Owari (the original ending for the show as a whole) had Leonardo take on Super Shredder in one last battle.

I’ve heard complaints that the turtles together should’ve beaten the leader of the Foot clan, that Leo didn’t earn defeating Super Shredder, and that Shredder was weaker than when he was in Requiem.

Leo’s last stand was an opportunity for him to show how much Leo has come from season one, prove himself worthy of being the sensei that his brothers needs and end their father‘s killer (who has caused so much pain to their family for years). Yet some undermine this great moment by saying that “Leo didn’t earn the win” or “Shredder wasn’t as strong as he was in Requiem”

Please tell me if you agree that Leo didn’t earn beating Shredder or not. I’d love to hear your thoughts

What are your thoughts on Prime Time (Joshua Williamson Superman issues 36 to 40)?

Now that Superboy Prime’s time of being the protagonist of a Superman book is finished, I’m curious to hear your thoughts on this story.

For me, it’s one of the best stories I’ve read from comics for the past few months.

I really like how they handle CK’s character. The story took a whiny destructive psychopath into someone who is actively trying to be a better person and the hero he always wants to be, while having to deal with his messy reputation that he has among other DC characters. His fourth wall breaks are pretty funny, and doesn’t figure contrived as the way marvel does it with Deadpool, Gwenpool, or She Hulk. Seeing CK grow as a person is endearing, especially with conversations on change he has with other characters like Damian Wayne, Lois, Martha and Johnathan (Pa) Kent, Witchfire etc are great steps to take with the character to show how much he has changed from his early days.

His interactions with other DC heroes, getting a job at a comic book store, a relationship with Witchfire, and dealing with Manchester Black’s shenanigans were really great to read through.

Having Manchester Black as the central antagonist was a really good choice. An edgy anti-hero/villain who wants to change the medium of comics provides a really good challenge for CK, especially with how DC becoming more edger is with him to commit his rampages. It also avoids having to bring in a random OC that would contain the immense power to match Superboy Prime.

In the end, this book talks about how change isn’t easy, but great to believe and strive towards for the better, which is a great lesson to have for a Superman book. Especially with how CK was initially despised for being a whiny plot device for power scaling that eventually becomes a charming and endearing character trying to become a better person is great.

After all that being said, i’m happy to say that Superboy Prime is among my favourite characters in comics and that Prime Time is one of the best books I’ve read.

Please tell me your thoughts on this story. I I cannot wait to hear your thoughts on this story.

Thank you for my post and have a wonderful day

What kind of dynamic would be made between Sai and daredevil/Matt Murdock?

Seeing how The Man Without Fear is the Web Head’s 2nd best friend (imo) and is a highly skilled ninja with a level of maturity that the human torch will basically never have, what kind of dynamic would there be between the devil from Hell’s kitchen and the Yokai hunter?

What are your thoughts on 2003 Karai?

She definitely had some great moments, but she frustrates me a lot during season three, four, and turtles forever with how stupid she can be, with working for Shredder despite being somewhat opposed to him, the constant flip flops from good to evil or siding with him in the movie (for some reason after already moving on from the foot clan’s dark roots until she changes again).

Those are my thoughts. Please tell me yours

Is Amourshipping: One Day Off a good story?

When it comes to fanfics, I don’t see a lot of people talk about this one.

Brief overview: Ash decides to take a day off from training, spending his time to help Serena prepare for her performance in Courmarine City. What soon follows after is character revelations, altered battles, and emotional beats made within this story.

Positives:

I like the concept to see how one day could change a person‘s life

The themes of how something unexpected can lead to something amazing, the strength of never giving up, dealing with the struggles in competition, and how efforts matter more than winning, which are very in line with the amour pairings’ character

I also liked the themes of love in the story, with how it can truly connect people, overcome challenges, how it brings out the best in people and leads to something so beautiful, which is great for the story being told

I like that the story had Ash talk about his experience with contest in Sinnoh to Serena

Bonnie hijinks are fun to read

It’s nice to have a story naturally transition from who would focuses on (from focussing on Serena prepping for her performance to Ash’s battles in the Kalos League)

Serena has some nice moments of her own that doesn’t hinge on her relationship with Ash

I really like the dynamic between Ash and Serena and how it develops

Questionable:

Alain feels wildly different here compared to the anime. While his goal was to become the strongest and master mega evolution is similar to his depiction in the anime, he feels like a mega evolution supremacist; talking down on anyone that don’t mega evolve their Pokémon, believing it to be the best, slightly more arrogant with how his Charizard is unbeatable. On top of that, he’s presented as a boogeyman like character, as someone who wins 1v6’s against anyone with Charizard the fact that he mega evolves so rarely, makes him an all the more terrifying challenge for Ash to overcome. So while I’m not a huge fan of the mega evolution supremacy, I do like everything else about how much of a threat he is and how his use of mega evolution clashing with Ash’s bond with pokemon makes for an interesting rivalry like Paul in Diamond And Pearl.

Downsides:

A large portion of the journey after Courmarine is skipped over, which robs for potential opportunities to explore (the master class, Ash Greninja, the Wulfric fights etc)

Ash Greninja never happened, which could have contributed to the themes of bond v mega evolution

Some slightly odd scenes with Serena’s revealing clothes to surprise Ash (I felt a little uncomfortable)

One region that the group explore is completely disregarded

Can fanfics that focus on Ash and Serena’s relationship exist without confirming several misconceptions that Serena only exist to be a love interest?

When it comes to Serena’s character, many people often only believe her sole purpose is just to be a love interest for Ash and/or has no character outside of having feelings for Ash. It makes some fanfics that focus on their relationship (eg. Amourshipping: One Day Off, our promise, our future, making memories together the cameraman trilogy, To Kalos with love, etc.) unintentionally confirm those beliefs just because the amour pairing got to have a relationship (with it sometimes being the focus of the story being told), it sometimes come at the expense of Serena’s character, which is difficult. While I definitely think these two should be a couple (when they’re older) and some fanfics can be interesting to to explore how their dynamic would change each other, it could potentially confirm those beliefs on Serena’s personality, which sucks.

Please let me know your thoughts because I’m really concerned with these types of stories with how they handle Serena

A Wonder Woman and Shazam team up should happen at some point

When it comes to team ups in DC, you can get some really fun stories like green arrow and Green Lantern and hard traveling. Heroes, Batman and Superman in many world’s finest stories, as well as Super Boy Prime working with Witchfire in Prime Time. But I think it’s long overdue for wonder woman to team up with Shazam

I’ve recently been getting into more Wonder Woman for the past few months that she draws a lot of similarities to Shazam. You have characters note with magical powers associated with Greek mythology that gets screwed over from time to time by DC. Seeing how Billy’s stories are often about him growing up and handling the responsibilities of his magical powers, I think there’s a lot of potential to explore if Billy were to work with wonder woman in his story involving the greek pantheon or Black Adam.

For Diana, this could be a good showcase for her character with how she handles being a mentor to Billy and handles her role to the Greek gods, while also giving her a chance to show why she is not only a great character, but show why she is among DC’s Trinity.

There’s a lot of potential that can be explored in a story that has Wonder Woman and Shazam having a team up story in any type of medium, would that be comics, movies, TV shows, games, etc.

Did Spawn get boring after he became the King of Hell?

For a time, I thought spawn was a really cool character with a lot of potential (both writing as well as his abilities), but I’ve noticed that Al has way too many abilities, and often contradicting his own weaknesses, like surviving being erased from Angela’s lance only to then bring himself back from nothingness by rewriting reality, the neoplasm meter is barely ever used, Spawn becoming more powerful in hell kind of ruins the point of him running out of necroplasm, because if you runs out, he will be powerless, unable to ever return to earth ever again (which gave some nice tension), but now, Al can just get stronger which doesn’t even matter anymore.

I’m curious to hear everyone else’s thoughts on whether they enjoyed Spawn after his coronation or not
