Borderline personality disorder

Hi! Ok so the more I research the more I am thinking my gf may actual have BPD. Can you share your experiences dating someone with this or maybe you have it yourself?

Of the signs I just looked up she has several. Legitimate has them, she is working on these in therapy.

Fear of abandonment

Anger and significant mood swings when upset

Self confidence/image issues

Telling little lies for no apparent reason

Past unstable relationships

Friends with ex

My Gf is still friends with her ex which i don't necessarily mind. However, she lied about still being friends when we got together and still will not tell me when they are hanging out. I have asked to just know. Not to say she cant, or a guilt trip, but I just want to know especially given that she initially lied. She said she lied bc she was embarrassed and had also dated someone who used to get mad at everything so she is trying to unlearn habits. I TRULY DO NOT THINK SHE IS CHEATING! But, I cannot figure out why she doesn't just tell me. I dont get it. The ONE time she did, I said OK and didn't even talk about it after so its not like I get on her about it. Im hoping someone is similar to my gf and can help me understand.

Serial monogamist?

My gf got divorced from her ex husband and started dating an old friend. They broke up and she jumped right into another relationship with someone she says she wasn't really attracted do and ultimately they broke up. Within a month we started talking. She told me she had been single for a few months. We've been dating for 6 months. I'm just wondering, how do ik she is actually in love with me and not just being in a relationship?

Overnights...

My gf and I have been dating 5 months. We are in our early 40s. I've spent the night at her place many times. She will come to my place and share my bed but then always leaves. Even when it's super late (like tonight she is driving 1 hour home at 1230am).

I have a clean house. When I ask her why or if she needs anything, she just says she has stuff to do tomorrow so wants to be home. It's fine she doesn't stay but I do wish she would. I like sleeping next to her. Just wondering what some reasons may be or reasons maybe you have for not wanting to stay over someone's house.

Children's books

I'm recently divorced (from a man) and have started dating women. I have a 4 and 6 year old and want to introduce them to two mom families. Any children's books you can recommend? I haven't come "out" to them yet since I am waiting until the appropriate time when I have established myself and a meaningful relationship. We read stories each night so I thought this could be a nice way to slowly open that world for them.

Fear of Abandonment

Hi ladies! I recently came out (39f) after my divorce. While dating casually without looking to get into another relationship, I met my gf (41f). She has had some rough relationships and recently shared her therapist said she has a fear of abandonment. We have been dating 3 months. Overall things are great but this did start to show on 2 occasions. We worked through it. I am pretty matter of fact where she is more emotional. I had to establish clear boundaries. Im just wondering what this really means and how others maybe have dealt with this? I want to support her so I guess looking for any ideas that worked for you. Thanks! 💋

First WLW relationship & need advice! ❤️

My first WLW relationship, we are both divorced from men and she has had other relationships with women. We've been dating 4 months. She asked to go exclusive pretty early on. However, I recently found out she has been lying to me about spending time with her ex gf. They live in the same building and see each other several times a week. Now, HEAR ME OUT.....

I am confident she isn't hooking up. She seems emotionally driven and for other reasons invested in our relationship. But lying is a hard no. We have talked and I set a clear boundary moving forward. She says she didn't know how to tell me they were friends bc her other part relationships were toxic and so she "hid" things to keep the peace. She said our relationship also picked up so quickly that then she didn't know how to tell me. And she said she was embarrassed by the situation then. I am not making excuses or justifying her reasons. Just stating what she said.

This being said, I'm not looking for the "I would just leave her" comments. I am looking for actual insight if anyone has any experience similar. Everything else seems great. She did say she would have me meet her too and the reason they broke up was because she wasn't attracted to her.

Baby gay - please help! Lol

I came out in November. I've been with 3 women. I'm currently seeing someone exclusively but I just cannot cum when she goes down on me. It feels great don't get me wrong but it takes me a while anyway and she just doesn't have the stamina. She feels bad, I feel bad then that she feels bad. I reassure her and we switch to other methods to finish but I guess im looking for advice or tips on how I can just relax enough maybe? I'm not totally sure i guess. Maybe even just if anyone else experienced this and how you worked through it. Thanks in advance ladies!
