I'm part of this transfem server and every couple of months I go "what if I'm not trans and just making it up?" and then they bring up the point I've girlmoded and asked others to call me Mabel and it brings me back to the truth

Severance: the novelisation (idea)

So recently, I finished watching all of Severance (so far) and it was an incredible, mind bending, kafkaesque journey that reminded me heavily of classic 60’s and 70’s surrealist sci-fi like The Prisoner and certain Doctor Who serials.

One idea I had was this - why not do a novelisation? As a whovian, some of the best Doctor Who books are novelisations of specific stories and I think that if you write it correctly, Severance could be a good fit. Also, novelisations are kind of a lost art and I think it’d be good to bring it back.

I don’t have any current plans to do an unofficial novelisation but I’m just posting this here to test the waters and see if anyone else sees where I’m coming from. What do you think?

What names do you give your custom religions?

One thing I do is I name the religion after a fast food place from that country so if I’m playing as Australia, it’ll be called Hungry Jack’s or if I’m Canada, it’ll be Tim Horton’s

What do you name your religions?

[no spoilers][book] Is the book of A Knight of Seven Kingdoms a good introduction to the asoiaf universe?

So my sister has been getting into the tv shows recently (something that has led to me bragging about having gone to Dubrovnik and she hasn't) and I was thinking about reading some of the books - half because I need to read more and half because I don't have HBO Max while her boyfriend does.

The reason why I'm thinking about going with AKO7K (idk if that's the right acronym) first is because it seems to me to be lighter than the other entries in the universe and seems to be shorter than the mainline ASOIAF books.

I'm just wondering if it's a good introduction to the universe or not. I don't want it to mention some random names I'd know nothing about and not explain it because I didn't read any of the main books.

Is it a good intro or should I swallow my pride and read the main books?

Had a dream Curse at Alton Manor was the most elaborate and mind bending theme park ride ever created

So it was the same story and the same ride vehicles but the mansion was full size and there were interactive scenes with live actors where riders would get out of their cars to solve problems before getting back in the car to move on to the next scene, it was like a crazy mix between the ride we have, the dungeons and an escape room.

Quick question - what’s the difference between a Royal Rumble and a Wrestlemania?

One of my friends is a wrestling nut so I’ve been casually watching a little bit of WWE, using her guide of starting out with watching some Royal Rumbles and it’s been very entertaining, it’s basically ballet with punching and cheesy acting.

What I want to know is from what I’ve learned, both Royal Rumbles and Wrestlemanias are annual wrestling events where big stars go head to head and I’m curious as to what the main difference is. Is it like the difference between an album and a mixtape where they’re more or less the same thing but one has a more weighty connotation to the name?

Sorry if what I’m saying is a little ignorant.
