Hi, im wanting to get an assessment done for myself for autism and adhd if possible. I dont even want to bother going the nhs route and im fine paying private but i dont know where to go looking. Ive heard of embrace autism that does them, they dont seem to be an accepted diagnosis place for UK standing. Im with Imago and have been since may of 2024 and ive just added everything up to see bow much Ive spent for the onboarding, blood tests and meds. So far in total its cost me £5,884.20

2024 = £1988.21

2025 = £2399.60

2026 = £14.96.60

im wondering how this compares to other private providers, such as anne health, GGP etc. I dont plan on moving but im just curious.

I got curious, so I went through current pricing for private HRT providers: GenderGP, Anne Health, Gender Hormone Clinic, Gender Plus, GenderCare, Eden New Life, Imago, and Pride In Health, and worked out 3-year costs across 3 different tiers:

• Cheapest, bare minimum: hormone only, cheapest formulation, no blockers
• Typical, common/representative treatment pathway: oestrogen as tablets in year 1, moving to patches once dose is established, plus the anti-androgen most MtF patients are on; basic injection supplies for FtM
• Premium, the most expensive options: pricier med choices (gel instead of tablets/self-injecting), progesterone if you want it, and upgraded service where a provider actually offers that tier

This is not an opinionated comparison of reliability, trustworthiness, or reputation of each provider. You should look into that kind of thing separately. These are estimates based on publicly available pricing in July 2026 and a common set of assumptions. They're intended to make providers easier to compare, not to predict everyone's exact costs. Also, I limited this to the first three years because most ongoing costs are generally much more stable by then.

How I worked this out

• Cheapest = hormone only (oral estradiol / self-inject testosterone), cheapest formulation, no blockers.
• Typical = oestrogen as tablets in Year 1 (£8/mo) while dose is being established, moving to patches from Year 2 (£14/mo), plus an anti-androgen throughout (£20/mo). FtM stays on self-inject testosterone plus basic injection supplies (£5/mo)
• Premium = gel oestrogen (£20/mo) or gel/long-acting testosterone (£45/mo) instead of the cheapest route, adds progesterone for MtF if wanted (~£12/mo), and for GenderGP only: charges for a human consent check-in, a doctor-led Information Gathering Session instead of the standard one, and doctor-tier contact instead of nurse-tier, since they're the one provider here pricing those distinctions explicitly.
• Blood tests priced separately unless a provider bundles them into membership (Anne Health, Eden, and Pride In Health's PIH-bloods option do), roughly twice a year while titrating, once a year once stable, except Imago, whose own guidance is quarterly for the first year specifically. An estimated £90 per blood test is used where there's no explicit price.
• No NHS shared care assumed anywhere. Getting it would cut your medication/blood costs a lot, but it's never guaranteed so it's not considered.
• I assumed three non-routine contacts per year for each provider (for example, questions about prescriptions or treatment).
• Barebones cost comparison only, so nothing else transition related or things like travel expenses are considered.

Im having to get my next prescription early because ive had to reapply patches earlier than the set days for different reasons. But this has left me with extra progesterone, about 2 boxes worth. So when i try my prescription fulfilled can I ask for all but 2 boxes of progesterone. 1 to save on cost and 2 ad I dont need them

Just had my prescription switched from patches to gel. Theres an online pharmacy thats linked with my digital prescription provider and it quoted me £530 for Oestrogel x 7, Synarel (blocker) x 3 & Utrogestan (prog) x 6. Which i thought was crazy but the last time I was on gel I wasn't taking as much as now. But I went to my local pharmacy who ive been getting my prescription fulfilled by for like the last 4 or so prescriptions and they quoted me that the full price would be £400 but they'd offer it for £380. Which is such a discount over £530. I dont get how they can be such a price difference. Its crazy.

Im rewatching the amime for like the 100s time and have yet to read the manga/LN or whatever its source material is. And im wondering does cid ever realise that everything he thought he made up like the cult of diablos is actually real. Or does he just continue to go on with a clue that its real. Also is it ever explained how did knew the things he did. Like when he first saved alpha he explains it all to her, what shadow garden is for ect and it all turns out to be true. Was it just a good guess or was it like he willed it into existence.

Im wanting to change my username on my account but it says its already taken. So i had a look and the user with the username i want, it says hasnt been online since the day they created there account back in 2015. I thought inactive accounts were deleted. Is there anyway i could get the username i want from them as there account has been inactive for 11 years

I put my application for fbr in April, had the confirmation of them receiving it. Now my brother is looking at doing it as they have a kid on the way. I know they can apply for it to be fast tracked to a degree as there expecting a kid. My question is if they put in there application and get it fast tracked can I somehow piggy back off that and get my application done at the same time even though I've already sent mine in
