I’m looking for a short bus tour to places like the national park and volcanoes etc but all I can find are trips for like 5 hours. Is there any short tours like 1 hour or so from Puerto del Carmen? TIA

Are there any camel ride places that take care of their camels properly? I don’t want to contribute to animal abuse.

Does anyone else just start crying during a migraine. For example i was in the city yesterday with my bf having a conversation and the next thing his voice sounded so loud and everything was so bright and peoples perfumes were so strong and i felt dizzy and imbalanced. I tried hold it together cause I didn’t want to ruin his day either but when we got back to the car i just started balling crying because it just feels so scary and overwhelming and unsafe. I can’t describe it but it’s like I just need to be in a dark hole by myself. I get so snappy aswell when it’s coming on. I think I cry from the overstimulation plus the terrifying feeling plus the fact I have to live with these episodes that can ruin my day. I feel so alone when they happen even if I’m with someone. It’s like no one understands how awful I feel. When it happens it literally feels like the sky is falling and then I’m really anxious.

Can poor sleep (there’s a heatwave in Ireland the past week and it’s hard to sleep) really cause symptoms to become bad again? I was doing well but now I’m sensitive to everything again and dizzy all the time a week later

Ever since I have met my bf he has to call his dad every night. He says that if he doesn’t, he will call him. He reckons he calls everyday out of his own insecurity to make sure they haven’t fallen out. For example if he texts him “sorry can’t talk tonight, I’m gone out”, the next night, his dad will ask if everything is ok with them. He also gets the hump if he says something off tone. My bf talks SO different on the phone to him, like completely different person, it’s so weird. He says he has to walk on egg shells in the conversation. They just talk about shit they did that day, mundane boring stuff.
My point being, every night when we sit down and relax together to watch TV etc his dad will ring and my bf will go outside and be on the phone for 30 minutes (his dad doing most the talking). It ruins our evenings. Even when we are in bed together, he has to get up to talk to his dad. Would his dad not think to leave him alone.
He has called every night since he was a child (he was reared by his mam but assumed it would stop when he became a teenager. He is now 24 and he still gets rang daily. I tell him to not answer or ask can we not call everyday but his dad will be so offended because he is such an awkward person so it’s easier for my bf to just answer the calls everyday. They have never fallen out before also. He is also a recovered alcoholic but I don’t know if that has anything to do with it. Also me and my bf don’t even call every night when we are apart.

Looking for advice please.
My partner has OCD and this obsession started when he got a scam email saying he had viewed cp and is going to prison (I also got this scam email). This started all of this. One day he was on a normal porn website and a pop up came up saying something like “if you are viewing this content the police will come to your door in 10 months”. He wasn’t even viewing any illegal. Anyway this has consumed him for a year on and off. He keeps searching more about it and getting himself freaked out even more. I tell him not to research and don’t give him reassurance which is hard for him but I’m trying to help him. I know that he hasn’t done anything illegal but he fully believes the police are going to show up on his door and he will be convicted of this and no one will believe that it was his OCD that made him google stuff. He said today that his life is over. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. He is on citalopram 40mg and did therapy last time but this time he thinks his life is over and therapy doesn’t matter because the ‘damage’ is done. He also think he saw something illegal in the past but not sure because he gets false memories.
