McDonald’s brought some international menu items today. Amongst them, France’s Cheesy Bacon McFlavour Fries. Did France just declare war on Quebec? Or did McDonald’s Canada just rebrand these American Cheesy Fries as French to appease the Americans?
There is the most lovely American Mountain Ash on the property. It's been there my entire life, so this tree is likely very close to 70 years old (it was big when I was little).
I'm certain it has to go, so unless there is any other way to save this tree, please tell me how. Those side branches are so healthy. I think they're too big for air layering 😅
I've always loved how when the fruit is ripe, the birds descend and pick it clean in a day. They make such a raucous and my car is... just... covered... with poo if I don't judge the day correctly. The blossoms in the spring smelled nice, too. I don't want to see her go.
I have friends visiting from Germany and with all the really great shops that sells pizza and donairs, I can't decide which to order from. I'm interested in who you folks prefer. For the record, I am only entertaining local shops, not chain-garbage.

I need to find ways to deter my neighbour's dogs from using my lawn as their toilet. One part of my front lawn is nothing but yellow patches from urine... to which my neighbour applied green spray paint to try and hide... poorly. To add fodder to the fire, this guy is a hot head and the expectation of anything reasonable coming from him if approached about the manner will ensure things go from bad to worse. I can not afford to erect a fence and we live in a very rural area, so it's not a reasonable option. I have included a link from The Spruce which has always offered solid advice on numerous things, and there are many good things to try. Namely, the ultrasonic sound deterent. Have any of you had to use any type of device or scent deterent that was successful? If so, what is it?! I can't deal with the spray painted lawn courtesy of the jackass next door.
Et voila! Tortilla pizza! GF crust sucks. This was quick and I always have tortillas. This definitely belongs in r/pizzacrimes I used Rao's for the sauce, added so.e fresh basil, sliced mushrooms, diced onion, sausage, tons of Romano on top and underneath. The tortillas stay crispy-chewy, isn't dry and holds everything together like glue. There's also some marble cheese. I had no provoking or mozzarella. I know.. another crime.
I had to buy a new lawn mower. I have it all set up, correct amount of oil, fueled... everything is ready to go except I'm terrified to pull the crank. If it doesn't start, I have no idea what to do. No expectations that it will start on first crank, but what if it doesnt start at all? I dont have the patience to figure out what's wrong nor would I be capable of it. HELP!
